I have seen only 1 script used at all orthodox weddings. This is my first non-orthodox wedding. I have questions about the differences; 2 most: 1)Why the rabbi (8:54) thanks G-d for creating man and woman separately? The orthodox rendition thanks for the joint original mankind creation. 2)Unlike orthodox, (2:34) love is required. While there should be love, should it be lost, it sounds like it would absolve the marriage without formal divorce! Any logic corrections for me?
I have come into contact with quite a few Rabbis over the years( but am not jewish) Very sadly with ONE exception, they treated me with rudeness and in most cases with total indifference, which made me steer well clear of them. HOWEVER! Watching this video of Randi and Sally's wedding, THIS Rabbi seemed like he was human and understood not only the couple he was officiating for but people in general. He seemed kind and approachable, and has caused me to revise my very bad opinion pf Rabbis in general. There DO seem to be some less women hating Rabbis out there somewhere. Even if this one is in the USA. Meantime, many congratulations to Randi and Sally on their marriage, and good luck for your future life together.
Andy and Sally what hrappened to 7 blessings. are u sure u are married according to jewish law. a lot of non observant jews try to do two things correctly. marriage ceremony and burial..

Everything they did was wrong according to halacha so really it wasnt an actual marriage
