This is a day in my life.
Most of the time when I have no plan at all then I end up doing so many different things and this was one of these days.
Gardening, a nursery trip, planting seeds , building soil and transforming the neglected place in front of my house.

Leave 1 papaya for the birds . It will help them during summer

I'm amazed on how tall the foliage is in your edible forest. It is so high that even from the roof of your house it stands out very tall and proudly. I wonder how many papayas a papaya tree can produce. 🤔
Yes, absolutely right - cats eat quite a lot of greens as well . I think they need the fiber for digestion. And I also observe them going crazy for certain types of roots , when I dig out some weeds. Compared to us confused humans they just intuitivly know what they need to thrive.
One of my cats even loves papayas;)
why did you choose south india to make your food forest?
Basically it was by chance , but I will tell you more about that soon in one of my viedeos.
Although I won't probably never live there, Auroville is an interesting place, If it didn't exist, it should be created for the sake of people's world inspiration. We expect that video : Maybe it would be interesting if you could explain a little of your background (Where are you from?, etc.) It's only a suggestion.
p.s. : I suppose that people from Auroville aren't all day playing videogames fantastically w/o doing anything else 😅

What kind of wild animals do you have in the garden? Do you have any problems with them?🐀🐁🐂🐃🐅🐌🐍🐛🐜🐒🐝🐞🐗🐦🐯🐾🕷️🦌
There are wild animals like snake , skorpions which I had no bad encouter till now;) but also some mokeys coming sometimes . And rats that my cats take care of. But there is a big problem with wild pigs here in our community and once they came to my garden!!! Thankfully I am quite protected here with a big canion all around the garden , so just a small fence in one area kept them away and they cant come up the steep canion:) and the Peakoks also are staying in the wild surrounding.

why don't europeans stay in europe?
Indian land laws unlike other ASian countries give zero ownership and zero staying chances for foreigners. So , make sure you dont loose everything in short notice
I am aware of that since the beginning of living here. Anyway I do not own the land or the house I live in. It belongs to the Auroville comunity .
