My goodness, that is not a garden, that is a PARADISE. Wow, well done, just to watch this video I got so much joy. Can you imagine to walk there and to enjoy all these fruits and vegetables. BRAVO for your hard work.
Oh my Gosh. I’m so happy to see you back. I kept saying to my Daughter. I’m so worried. I absolutely love your Videos. And I planted a Banana tree and Pineapple in chilly old Victoria Australia. So good to see you posting your amazing videos again.
Thank you so much for still being here and watching...Its been a long time and hopefully I will show up more often. It is so nice to be back and connect with likeminded people😘
Saw your comment on Eugenia Diaz’s channel, very different feel, love the wildness and jungle exuberance of your garden. I’m always surprised at how many leaves are edible, I always learn from you, thank you, please be careful this rainy season! 🙏👏😍🌱🌱🌱
Thank you for this video. I was always wondering about you, how you'd be doing. I appreciate hearing from you and the garden highly! Stay healthy and safe! Wishing you all ways the best.
If you’re harvesting lemongrass without a knife you can go all the way down to the base twist it then bend it and it will pop right off the plant. Such a magical place!!
Yay! I'm so happy to see you made another video! Watching this will be my Christmas present, LOL. I love your channel and have learned so much. I live in Yap, Micronesia, and we have very similar climates and vegetation, but it seems people in India do far more with the plants they have; which is why I am glued to your videos because I learn so much that I can apply here to my gardens. I also love the simplicity of your videos; no frills, fancy shots or trendy music-believe me, what you are doing is so refreshing and relaxing to watch! thank you for bringing joy to your fellow garden-obsessed watchers:) -heidi
Thank you dear Heidi for your uplifting comment ! This motivates me to share. more videos as I am doing them for people like you - to inspire and also get inspired . I had no idea where Micronesia is and I just did a search and read about these island - sounds and looks like paradise to me! Now I am dreaming to go for a swim there..here I live just 5 minutes from the beach,,but its not nice for swimming.🌿🔆🌻
Just discovering your channel- love your permaculture garden! Very envious of all of the tropical fruits you're able to grow! 😊 Looking forward to watching some of your other videos... where do you live?
This is a paradise. Btw I'm surprised that there isn't any Jackfruit tree. You can eat them raw as well as cook the unripe fruit. Keep up the good work.
Your channel makes me pone for my California garden. Passion fruit, oranges, bananas… 😥 I had a year round garden. We moved to SE Tennessee last year and bought 15 acres. The summer gardening is unreal, but winter is a little bleak. Learning how to moderate a greenhouse, which is tricky with the wild temperature swings. You’ve got a very nice garden. Congrats!
Wow that sounds like a big project- I hope you have some help as I am at the limit of what I can manage by myself with a garden of little less than 1/4 of an acre! Good luck
Freakn Awesomeness i still will have all kinds of seedlings growing in Trays Jaha youre Forest is amazing I see its India Looks Tropical and probably get alot of rain...Great content here...
Thanks! yes its Tamil Nadu - right now just the end of the rainy season, what means planting season as there is not much rain for the rest of the year!
Shoutout to "Indian oregano"! In Swedish it's called "Kryddkarlbergare" but its also known as Jamaican thyme, Moroccan mint, Cuban oregano and 599 other names! Maybe my all time favorite plant, if you ever see one GET IT!❤️
Wow... I am so happy to see your foodforest and how happy you are there 🌿💛🌿 I started one on Canary Island... planted so much trees like yours and I think just in 2 years look like a jungle also 🌿🌿🌿 but after 3 years planting and developing mother earth the vulcan transformed the farm to a black sea 😭 I hope to see more about your paradise!! 😍 Feliz navidad ✨✨✨
Oh that is really sad to hear about the land that you cared for! And I can imagine how difficult to loose it all . My garden went trough quite a big cyclone some years back , it can change so quick! Wish you all the best 🌿🌻🌈
Amazing work ! Very inspiring ! Love to see you. What do you do with okra ? Me I used to make okra water then I can drink it or use for hair and skin or to thicken dressing sauce
This is the video that I made about the installation of the irrigation system th-cam.com/video/R3lJ_rV_zJw/w-d-xo.html And the gardern just evolved over time , as it was not my intention in the beginning to have such a big garden , I did not really design it and then mde it happen . It was more of a slow process and also the irrigation only was installed later on when I realized that I cant give water by hand no more,
Wow, i just love your garden and your lovely work for nature, i have a small terrace garden too, i will definitely like to visit you to learn more about permaculture, would you mind if I ask about how much space have you used to make your Lovely garden?
The vegetable garden is about 400m2 and the new patch that I started 1 year ago with the fruit trees about the same size . All in all little less than 1/4 of an acre.
Hi Poonam, passionfruit likes to be planted in half shade , where it can grow up a structure or tree. It will just spread towards the light ,but the trunk loves some shad and lots of mulch! Here it is super easy to grow them. I know there are. many different varieties, its best to choose one that fits your climate I guess.Good luck with it! Wish you lots of passion flowers
@@MyFoodForest Thank you so so so so much Firstly for reading and responding to my query and then I want to tell you that I ordered the Passion Fruit Seeds from Tamilnadu itself and going to put them in the best possible seedling mix. By the way, I live in Rajasthan where climate is hot during the day and cool at njghttime. Again Much love from Me !! Keep Inspiring people like me.

You could retain more moisture in the soil if you enrich the soil with biochar. This is very useful when it does not rain for a long time. hth

it is a little less than a quarter of an acre or about 800 square meters. Sometimes it really feels big, as I manage it on my own ,

Wondering if there is enough sun for vegetables with all the tall trees?
Yes, I keep some sunny spots , but as it gets really hot here some shade is not bad for them.
This is definitely my dream
I just want to know how to keep the passion fruit vine healthy as I bought one very costly and now it doesn't have any leaves 😢.
