Not enough money for scholarships at 9.9 per roster. 12 would increase costs and we're trying to reduce cost so we can expand to more college programs. Not increase cost to have more programs cut.

@victorpistone1073 so you believe if you cut costs for Iowa with 9.9 scholarships then Alabama may start a program. The entite SEC is flush with cash & has no wrestling. 9.9 has been the rule forever and I don't see the SEC expanding with all those savings.

No other school recruits like PSU, most fill in with portal studs. Maybe OSU is the only school that doesn't go crazy with portal studs.
PSU athletic director should just pay the wrestling staff 5 mil extra to coach wrestling/football....Franklin/staff transfer to intramurals.
