This 11200 crane could travel on the autobahn but obviously not in the configuration pictured in the video. The lattice section would be removed, and the boom would likely be removed and travel on a separate trailer. The outriggers would obviously be retracted.

"john fitzpatrick" owns cambridge rigging and used to own latta crane before he sold it to mammoet. we have use modern before, they are based out of niagara falls. amherst are a fair size, i always see them on construction sites "pumpcreting". so is arlington. the biggest crane companies in ontario are ALL and MAMMOET. i wish you luck in your search for an apprenticeship.

my dad has been driving lots of big equipment and the largest mobile crane he eva drove could lift 350,5 tons.... and this thing ( the LTM 11200 "Mammoth") can lift 1,200 tons! (or one thousand two hundred tons)
This is My Nallys of Co Monagahan Ireland. They have dozens of cranes. I suspect this one is lifting wind mills as the construction industry is dead in Ireland.
Those are big, But still not the worlds largest. Ohio has the worlds largest crane and dump trucks and I drove in one of the largest over the road trucks during the pipe line days and it had multiple driver cabs.
@spencedoucet21 no surely not but it isn't the guys own crane so he doesn't care and the owner does not know the tech do's and dont's ..you can imagine the extra weight ont the sterring train at the front... don't see any extra counterwight to counter this....

I,ve never understood such big cranes with tires. They really aren't mobile. I've been on BIG job sites and I have never seen a crane that needed to move postion any faster than it was on tracks. Tracks that are over 30ft apart, wider than that road that thing is driving on.... sure there is assembly time with track vehicles that size but most job sights using equipment that large are most likely on dirt, not asphalt.

How much schooling does it take to be able to run something like this? I've run a lot of big equipment . But nothing like that.
