Nice to see you do a full video! I’ve grown up watching D & R all over the DMV. One of the first crane companies I was introduced to when you put up tower cranes on Rt. 1 at the Hyattsville Justice Center. Can’t wait to see more videos!
I didn’t know USA had such weights restrictions that a LTM1500 is being teared from it’s uppercarriage. I would invest in lighter and compacter trucks then what they are driving to take more weights as cargo with them. Here in Holland we drive with the uppercarriage and the boom.
It varies state to state in the US. Mostly due to the differences in the ground underneath and costs to build stronger roads on softer ground. Also, in some places, the ballast trucks are limited to about 36t gross weight, so they can only carry 2 ballast blocks plus a small piece of jib.
This is exactly how every assembly/disassembly crane video should look like 🤩
One of the dopest crane videos I’ve seen and sick color for the company cranes and trucks
What a beautiful truck and crane fleet you have, I hope you can do many safe lifting jobs with it, very nice. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Didnt know US roads were that weight/axle limited that you have to dissassemble the upper parts of the 1500...
Different states have different laws. Here in NYC we run our 1500,1450, and 1650 with the house and boom on, on the streets
@@jamescaliendo1030what’s the height though?
@SJ_999 the oilers tell me they travel at around 13"5
True
Here in OK, it’s determined by weight per axle, that crane could have been roaded with dog house and boom with the 10 axles.
Excellent video
Am in UK never seen one tore apart that much to keep with in road weight
Used to seeing 1750 running about roads hear
Probably bridges specifically
That was awesome to watch!!
U wanna play u gtta pay yea boy the lads got there over time in ✌️nice video and lift
Wow, awesome job
A whole lot of equipment and manpower just take out and set up some sheet metal boxes!
That is a really really cool video!
Im guessing the 1500 is too heavy for local roads with the boom and rotator attached?
What was the reason to take off crane engine + cabine? In Europe they only remove boom.
What are the weights and how far out?
bad ass video !!
Driving with full set up must have been stressful
I was wondering the same thing. He must of had the gib counter balanced perfectly.

@@davidw3673 Thanks for the information.
It is amazing!
Nice video, awesome crane, thank god I have a mute button 6:46
Only in America or just certain states??
It varies state by state. Different ground conditions and different costs to build strong roads on soft ground.
Sorry..die Musik ist ne Katastrophe!
Zonde van filmpje , muziek zeer vervelend.
MUTE is nice
Wait, you can drive these cranes that way? 😲
That freaked me out also. Wonder if he had to override the computer? One twitch of the wheel, gas or brakes and snap!
