it´s really refreshing seing someone admitting to making mistakes playing from games for the first time. really enjoyed the commentary and casual editing without too much added effects
i fell down there like that on my first playthrough and was like "damn i musta found something amazing here" and then it turned out the bridge just becomes a ladder
Your passion is real. Keep making these videos, they're great ! And keep that childlike wonder for these games (and life in general). btw if you haven't figured it out yet, the wax prevents curse while running through archives ;)
@@matthewjalovick Agreed. I don't even get stressed at a boss until I'm at least 7 tries in. Usually end up going through the 4 stages of grief by the time I've beat a real challenge.
He literally showed 4 clips of himself dying to that boss, so I don't see how he could have beaten it on attempt # 4. It must have taken at least 5, but even that is low for a first playthrough.
"Nameless King really made me think like I wouldn't be able to complete the game." "On my *fourth* try though, something awakened within me." wat brah, no fucking shot four failed attempts is what made you think you wouldn't pass. It took me AT LEAST 20-30 attempts on most story bosses
@@mon0lithic629 I've completed every souls game so far dark souls 3 was by far the easiest for me soul of cinder was probably the easiest end game boss for me.
Imagine the feeling of seeing that dude and remembering u have a similar gesture and just sitting there chilling next to him and suddenly bam you find a new area
Unfortunate you recorded with the wrong mic man. Technical difficulties are the worst! But still glad you came out with a new video and salvaged it as much as possible. Good work!
I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE WITH THE NAMELESS KING, ONLY thing was that I read the message and decided that ringing the bell is a no-no cuz in this game every touch means death, I then cleared the rest of the area and searched for the boss for a good half hour, WITH LIKE 4 FRIENDS ON DISCORD, 3 OF WHOM HAD FINISHED THE GAME.... Lot a laughs, what a game!
9:50 on accident, I know I have meditating gesture with dragon name and I see meditating dragon so I use gesture and stay there cause it's nice to take in the world they built, there are so many places on the map you can do this that's actually 1 of my fav aspects of this game
Great video! We all looked up shit cause these games are confusing as fuck lmao. Looking forward to part 3! The DLC areas are the best in the entire game and the bosses are 10/10. Have fun!
Oceiros is actually one of the most tragic bosses I've seen. He's actually holding an infant while fighting, which is where the crying is coming from. And in second phase, he smashes it on the ground. You can see the particle effects of when an entity dies when Oceiros slams down on the floor. He killed a child while fighting you.
Exactly my feeling when fighting the dragonslayer armour, a fair 1v1, an epic battle for the ages... till you get kinda ganked by the butterflies on the air...but still cool!
In the Grand Archives, the ghost hands can damage AND curse u to death. The wax prevents that. No idea how, I guess if you can't see ghosts, they cannot hurt you.
You are a legend, i don’t think I would’ve been able to get nameless king in 4 tries on a melee build lmao I’m going for the platinum atm and chose sorcery which makes that fight way easier obviously
Welcome to the group! 2nd best thing ever, just behind majestic bloodborn! I played 10k hours in both. Had to buy new ps4 cuz the 1st burned. Best pvp!❤ i maxed out all covenant items. From all covenants.even in storage. I miss playing it.. now im sadz 😅😅😅
You can use the crossbow to kill the worm. There’s a rock near the left wall facing the boss fog that you can hide behind that’ll allow the crossbow to hit the worm
Love the video bro. I know you haven't played the DLC but it's amazing and dont miss out like I did because I beat the game like 20 times with different weapons and builds.
Enjoyed the vid definitely game me some good laughs! Quick tip if you're on console and cycling between items to try and get to the Estus Flask hold left or right on the D-pad it will skip all the items and jump to the Estus Flask!
you mustve been way overleveled if u killed sir lothric so easily i can easily say this is one of the best boss fights in the dark souls series, i loved it but it sure as hell wasnt as easy as u make it out to be here
Slight note, in the smouldering lake catacombs there should be an invisible wall somewhere near/in a room with a bunch of rats in it? Can't recall exactly but u get a pyromancy tome in front of an old friend from DS1.
There have only been two games in my life that I have an unhealthy addiction to, and they are Demons Souls and Dark Souls 3. I hear that it is good to admit you have a problem. Dragonslayer Armor, lol, I always thought it was french, but I'm not French so I don't know. I dare you to attempt Darkeater Midir in the dlc, the only way I did was to summon some friends who just had fully maxed out level and gear and I just stood back and was the healer for them. I kid you not, that dragon made my last college semester a total nightmare.

bro is honest . almost way too honest 💀 ...
It was pretty funny to hear him say that the Profaned Capital was an optional area
Well by that logic the entire game is optional. =D
It makes sense though because he was already at Dancer by the time he realised Yhorm can be killed too
Yeah now that you say that I just now realize
@@lol-tz3mg well unless you kill the handmaiden you can’t get to dancer without killing yhorm
@@haydenreed3357
The corpse with the key to the grand archives will not appear if you do not kill the abyss watchers, aldritch and yhorm
I just about died when Vaati started loresplaining 😂
Same 🤣🤣🤣

Getting down the bridge/ladder to Smoldering lake like that? Absolute boss. (didn't even know it was possible)

Wax makes u immune to the grabbing hands from the bookshelves
When the world needed him most he came back
MAN YOU DONT KNOW HOW LONG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER UPLOAD. idk why but your content is supreme!
You doubted if you could beat the game after only 3 tries haha?? NK was over 100 for me first time. You pick up these games well!
Same. He made that comment so I was expecting like 30+ tries. FOUR?! I’m just going on my first date with a boss at that point!
@@matthewjalovick Agreed. I don't even get stressed at a boss until I'm at least 7 tries in. Usually end up going through the 4 stages of grief by the time I've beat a real challenge.
Srsly doubt he got him on the 4th try, Nameless King is GOAT...
Nk isn't that bad, champ gundyr is worse
He literally showed 4 clips of himself dying to that boss, so I don't see how he could have beaten it on attempt # 4. It must have taken at least 5, but even that is low for a first playthrough.

i fr watched every dark souls video on ur channel. i’ve never played a souls game outside of elden ring but ur funny n dope so keep it up

glad to know we all go to watch vaati to find the lore behind every reference
"Dragonslayr Armour?!? Thats a dumbass name.." HAHAHAHAHAHAH bro i had the same reaction the first time i fought him
Just so you know, you can climb and descend the bridge like a ladder. You don't have to awkwardly fall onto the ledge 😂

I'm just doing a new playthrough of this game after taking more than a year break, and it is a TON of fun. One of my favourites, for sure.
Dragonslayer Armor felt like the most fair but difficult boss.
I played this game 100 times and never knew you could shut down the crosbows
Killing the Nameless King with the Dragonslayer weapon seem like a canon event

The wax in the Grand Archives helps prevent curse buildup.

Dipping your head in wax makes the curse hands not effect you! That'll be very useful if you play through again
