For people who tried to use the 1st tactic and cant move the cursor or keyboard. Click on CTRL ALT DELETE at the same time then move your cursor to the most right then click ESC. After that, you can pretty much drag your cursor outside the projecting screen and can click on minimise

i've been struggling to connect my oneplus 8 to my pc with bluetooth audio reciever for weeks.. THANK YOU!!! This somehow works better than manually connecting my phone to my pc over bluetooth although this is my first time connecting. if this comment blows up or gets replies or something I'll keep you updated
The much cleaner way to do this is to use Developer mode and a devkit tool like SCRCPY (and SNDCPY along side for audio) to bring the image over to your PC via USB. No app, no web casting, no bloat. Very little input lag as well, makes a livestream set up much cleaner
@@MidnightMan they absolutely can be. I've been using those tools to mirror online games into OBS and stream/record VODs for a couple weeks with no issue. I've not played fortnite but cod mobile definitely works fine for it.
@@HokeyBugle with Fortnite they won’t let you in an online game if in developer mode +that’s great it works with other games though, the video output will be cleaner, just the process is not as simple

Thanks for this for the first method you need a dual screen setup, because on my end, the main window will be display the phone, You cannot click escape because it equivalent to, pressing power button on the phone. So you cannot control your obs. Thats why we need a secondary monitor for this to work. When I manage to alt tab. My phone disconnected to my pc. I will try the next option. THanks
the first method didn't work for me --- literally my phone refused to pick up my pc... but the second method DID work -- flawlessly.. actually, I didn't have to go the headphones route at all, it didn't say I needed to root my phone for internal audio. I bought the pro version after a confirmed test! Thank you for this easy to use tutorial!!

I tried the first method, but when I tab out (Alt+tab) for a bit it stops 'receiving' in the Connect app. The connection isn't the problem as I can just keep using my phone with the connect app on screen for longer times. FYI: After casting your phone to PC, you can't even switch over to Windows desktop at all (in order to open OBS). To avoid this hassle, follow these steps: 1. Open up "Connect" app on your PC. You'll get a screen which shows "LAPTOP/DESKTOP-MODEL NAME is ready for you to connect wirelessly". 2. Then open OBS and follow the steps from 2:20-3:13. Also make sure to select the "Window Capture" program from your default Windows desktop to "Receiver.exe" (Connect app)! 3. Finally cast your phone to PC (steps are in the video from 0:40-2:13).
@@MidnightMan When I press ALT + TAB, it simply opens up my phone's task manager and WIN + TAB does nothing. In other words, my laptop is taking entire control of my phone. I feel that this is the only method working for me.

First, I don't have any "cast" settings on my Samsung S21 phone. Second, computer ≠ computer with Windows. Both issues should be reflected in the title of the video.
If you haven't already... how to game play from samsung dex on laptop while streaming from streamlabs program.. I noticed I can't use windows when dex is open.. I use a hdmi cord.. casting is not my best bet personally.... since windows is not available while live streaming.. I can use my twitch app from phone.. Hey man just wanted to ask one thing When I connect to my pc Then the window opens in full screen and as soon as I move my cursor it automatically goes inside the phone display and I am able to use the phone with my laptop's mouse and keyboard. Can you please tell how to exit from this so that the cursor comes back in the laptop and I can open OBS and add the window as a source
@@jawahargaming8227 before selecting the device you want to display to, make sure you cursor is on the right edge of the screen. that way you can minimize the Wireless Display App before connecting a device

Sounds good in theory, but some games cannot be played online if you’re in developer mode

Via Wi-Fi it's horrible but at least USB seems more stable, although idk about the stream quality with a USB 2.0 from the phone part.

When I tap to cast on my pc it just gives me an option to disconnect which means I am connected. But nothing shows up in my pc
orrr...you can use aux cable for audio plugin it into Line-in on your pc. Good Tutorial though bro, helped me a lot
