Hi! I purchased everything you linked for option #1 but not sure if I got sent the wrong things. The Apple Lighting to Digital AV is fine but the Anker USB C HDMI Adapter wouldn't fit on it, it's too big for the Apple plug in. Also, the video capture card would also not fit on the other end of the Anker cable because the output is a normal USB one while the Anker one is for an HDMI cable. Not sure if they sent me the wrong things but just flagging :)

I did everything for method one but it either goes black or says no signal and the ipad says it connected to dock or has connector dock connected but it does not show on my obs have been setting this up for hours and I still cannot figure it out

@@florinchivu11 yes I solved it. I had to connect to the Internet via my iPhone hotspot. Then I could get the App to launch properly. I’d love for it to work with my laptop connected to the Internet vis Ethernet cabel, but this solution was what worked for me. Strange thing is though that I tried the ”classic” version of the app…and that worked together with my Ethernet cabel connection. Hope this helps you too 👌🏻
I’m looking for a USB-C splitter for my Pixel 7 Pro that can coonnect to its USB-C port. The splitter should have two female USB-C ports: one for connecting USB-C Apple EarPods too make phone calls, and the other for charging the phone and supporting data transfer. This data transfer should enable USB debugging mode, allowing me to use the mirroring application, scrcpy. I’ve noticed that most products on Amazon only support data transfer on the port that supports audio, but not on the charging port. Can you recommend a product that meets thesee requirements?
I got z flip 4 connected to a capture card hdmi in the hdmi out to a laptop. Also a usb cable from capture card to laptop. I also did run it as administrator but still got a black screen 😢
I wish it was that easy for me. I have a capture card set up and connected to my iPhone, but it doesn’t show anything but a black screen on obs. I updated everything, played with the plug ins, but it refuses to work. I’m about to just give up and accept that I wasted money on a capture card because it just won’t display my phone screen onto obs.

Great video! I’ve used the capture card method and it’s great. The only thing I can’t stand is the resolution discrepancy. The black bars at the top of the screen look tacky to me, so I usually crop and stretch. That’s not great either. What’s your opinion on this? Am I over thinking the black bar tackiness? Should I let the black lines ride?

I’m running into the issue that douwan screen recording is only playing sound through laptop speakers and I cannot figure out how to make the audio work with blue tooth or wired headphones.. so it’s not just through pc speakers to hear foot steps. Running with iPad Pro 2020
Are other apps playing through headphones? Essentially, is the audio being split? I would check the audio output settings in both Douwan and computer to make sure it’s being routed how you want

Hi got everything to work via stream all my viewers could hear all different sounds. However my one issue is I myself cannot hear my own game sound via my WIRED headphones - I can however hear all other sounds on my pc etc. Do you have any idea how to fix this issue? Me. You don’t need a capture card or silly program to stream phone to obs on a mac. Just connecting the device to the computer is all u need.

Some folks build it into their stream layout. That way everything looks flush

You don't stream 120fps you stream 60fps anything over that isn't necessary or normal. You play the game at 120fps and that's it.
