Good and balanced review, Shane. Inclusion of light stand and two-trigger BT remote, a real plus. I’d mount a light weight cam on the cold shoe for macro work. Leather jacket w/hoodie makes you look cool enough, although silly thumbnail mug shot detracts from that moniker 😁.

They are both really good. if you want to light up a wider area the larger one is a better option. If you check out a few of my recent microphone reviews you'll see them lighting the wall behind me :)

The 8" will do the job but if you want to light a general area and not use it for close up face stuff then go for the 10". Thanks for the kind words. :-)

Hi there! Am I correct in thinking that you could use a 10" ring light with a tablet if you place it on a separate stand and place it at a lower height behind the ring light?
Got mine this week. Too two selfies then I tried to turn it off it wouldn't so I unplugged it. Now the power light is on but the right won't turn on. The don't offer customer service. I'm so disappointed. I had hope after watching your review but mine is defective

I think where they will really shine is when you need a closeup shot where a light will get in the way other than that I think are going to be just fine with the soft box.
There's a cold shoe mount in the middle. If you get an adapter to screw into the webcam you can for sure. That will then be seated into the cold shoe in the light.

You may need to set your camera to expose for a particular section of the shot. Hold down on the screen where you want to expose for. (depending on your model)
I want to return a mobile that does not work but the Banggood team does not want to give me a solution, I have been negotiating with them by email for a month but nothing, I feel cheated.
It should work instantly once it's connected to the appropriate power. (and after you turn it on) There's a blue light on the controller that will light up to show you it has the correct power.

The lamp must use PWM is dim the light. That’s why the lines are visible.

Soft box lighting is by far the better choice for lighting a room. The ring lights are good for keeping the room dark and the face bright :-)
I have a 10 inch for around $35 with a thick stand and remote. And it's very bright
