I didn't know about their existence till I wandered around on Spotify like 2months ago and just clicked their page. I tried to listen to the album and this song is my most fave, I remembered it the most. I overplayed it and it's good 😂

Does anyone old enough remember mid 70s Hawkwind. Sounds very similar and amazingly addictive ?
I saw Hawkwind at the Starwood on the Strip in ‘76. Strange combination of Nick Gilder, Hawkwind, and Detective. Hawkwind came out and threw a sword into the stage and it stuck, then launched into their synth heavy amazing deliciously bizarre music, and I loved it. Wet Leg is kind of a combination of that and the reckless fun of the B52s
I remember tripping over this on utube years ago, I remember saying “What a fun goofy song, that’s actually really good.”. It seems that the rest of the world agrees.

Their career has developed very quickly as we know, but having Harry Styles appoint them as his support act AND cover Wet Dream has propelled them into the stratosphere. But never forget that each of the girls have had 10 years of hard musical graft behind them to get here.

I like how they’re trying to make subtle changes to ‘their most famous song’ by mucking about with the name and the guitar fx. They need to keep the core of it but slowly evolve it otherwise they WILL eventually think offs…not again.
