Man, Hester sounds almost like she's whispering. Yeah, they're not your typical rowdy rock band with massive egos flying around. I'm glad they've had such great success, I really hope it (the industry & success) doesn't screw them up 'cause they're all so sweet and the industry is so corrupt and horrible.
Yes - I accidentally ran into three of them after they played a festival in Oslo Norway (summer 2022) and talked to Henry the drummer for a while - he must be the most humble and friendly young rock star one could ever meet.

We gotta get even more indie acts up in here. You can tell Nard always enjoys them because they're the closest to the music he actually makes and listens to (although, with a few exceptions - lookin' at you, Blur and Sonic Youth - it's hard to find too many interviews where it doesn't look like he's having a blast). If he hasn't interviewed Phoebe Bridgers yet (and I'd be shocked if he hasn't), that'd be a match made in heaven.

This is so bizarre to listen to this by comparison to all the US rapper interviews. I live in Portsmouth, and can see the Isle of Wight out of my window (and visit on occasion), so it's funny hearing them talking about how it is here.

Never heard of this Nardwuar cat before, nor this band just heard them on TikTok, and at first was like wtf this guy is hard to handle. Half way through and I'm like I love this guy, he's freakin great. They young lady is like an British Kim Deal and I mean that in very positive way.

Anyone who has listened to UK radio over the last year and a bit knows everything about them.
That was one of the most endearing interviews he’s done imo. The members of Wet Leg seem extremely nice.
