It's crazy, 'cause I'm totally on board with you guys (and gal); Season 4 was really when they hit their peak and found their groove -- it's always been my favourite season -- and even though there are so many fantastic episodes, it's remarkable that everyone seems to agree that Homeland is the best episode of the season. It really is the quintessential Highlander episode, with so much DNA from the first film. It's simply a shame that the actor who played Kanwulf was so wooden, because by rights Homeland should be a stone cold masterpiece, but because of him it's more like a 9.5/10. Oh well. My next favourite episodes are probably Timeless (mostly because of the Methos-Alexa plot, but I also love Roger and Claudia), and Through a Glass Darkly, which I'm surprised doesn't get more love. Dougray Scott is so great as the tragic Warren Cochrane, and it always breaks my heart when he begs Duncan to take his head ("Please, Duncan, I can't live like this"), and Duncan replies, "You're gonna have to." ...I wish we could've seen a follow-up episode with Warren.
I just discovered your channel. Please make more content more often. There's not enough of us highlander fans out there.

Any episode with Methos makes the best of list but Till Death is the absolute best episode!
