- Possibly one of the biggest crimes in gaming that they didn't include the main theme in the ending of MAFIA DEFINITIVE EDITION. So I fixed that, I mean the soundtrack fits perfectly.

With the character redesign, you can now way better recognize how much Sam is similar to Tommy. In facts, he is exactly how Tommy would have become if he didn't have his family and his friendship with Paulie. Tommy killing Sam is now a symbol of Tommy quitting his old lifestyle forever.

Very true and as soon as Sam mentioned Paulie’s name, Tommy immediately shot him 3 times. Really shows how upset he was by Paulie’s death and how close he was to him over Sam. It illustrated that Tommy cared more about avenging his friend, his family and giving up his mafia lifestyle over letting Sam live, possibly letting his fate be in his hands about his whereabouts and once again being betrayed twice by someone whom he trusted so much over the course of 8 years in the Salieri family

This remaster of Mafia is like an actual movie instead of a game tbh

Damn! The look on Tommy's face when Joe was about to shoot him. It's like he knew what was about to happen.

I don’t think it was that hard for Tommy to figure out that a guy who walked onto his lawn with a shotgun was gonna shoot him

This is really good especially around 16:08 I couldn't help but feel nostalgia with the original theme in this scene
Apparently someone is making a music mod for the game which adds in the OG soundtracks, I hope they add the main theme at the end in the way you did with the video!!

The original one didn’t seem as sad and Paulie didn’t seem like a special character but the remake made everything more lifelike

Well Salieri was already beginning to see Tommy as a liability after He spared Michelle and Frank, and He and Paulie doing the bank job behind His back is what prompted Him to give Sam the order to have them killed
God dang it why did they just throw the old soundtracks out the window?!
I feel like some tracks wouldn’t sit right some would but I’d like to see the originals in an update and or mod

Im thinking if i should do it or not when i get the game or simply get 24k, still i wish you could kill that guy who killed Vito's Dad without having to kill Tom. Did you guys found out how you can do that? Because i want to let Vito Take Revenge for his Father but i also don't want him to kill Tom (i know it's Joe who kills him but still i don't want them to kill him) if Somoene found out how to do it please tell me because i don't want to do it. Even though I'm a Trophy hunterish.

I like the changes they did to the ending, but I feel like the original slightly did it better with the original music playing after Tommy gets shot.

It's almost the same as this. Except Sam is hiding after he got shot in the leg i think. I gotta say this is a lot cooler. You get to fight a lot more than in the original. In the original it just gives you a Cutscene where you talk to Sam. But in the Remake i like it better because you talk to him while fighting for your life. There ain't really any memes sadly though about this game. Only when Sam said "Take him out Boiz!"
So sad this kind of ending. Tommy, Sam and Paulie used to be such good pals too! But in the end: Killing each other just to staY alive! Then Tommy gets whacked! Heartbreaking! But that is true to life mob stuff though! ☹

The original ending was better. Sam didn't try to weasel his way out in that one. He accepted that this is what happens in 'the life.'

This was a bad ending, and it seems like an ending that is not canon, as there should have been an alternate ending in which Tommy does not wish to help Paulie rob the bank, which would of course mean Paulie turns on them all, and then eventually dies, while Tommy can live the rest of his life happily, and may had still been alive during the events of Mafia 3.

playing Mafia 1 2002, then replaying it recently, was great, remake is deffo better. time to play Mafia 2 remake then 3
îs disappointing..everything, the fans, the guido personality and accent. Really terrible. They removed the cigarette cause I guess that aint politically correct.
