Interestingly, 3/4 might work as well but the piece will sure develop into a separate path. When coming with the theme, I imagined the first note being on the 'strong' beat, therefore went along with 4/4 instead of 3/4. :)
If the first note (F) is on the 1st beat, the fourth note (C4/middle C) is intended to be played behind the 16th rest after the 2nd beat, avoiding to be on the beat. It is very often found in other baroque pieces where composers avoid playing the theme on the beats. There are no right or wrong on making it avoiding the beats, it's purely subjective, though was a norm back then.
Is this supposed to be 3/4 or 4/4? Pick one
Bro nobody's here can you tell me if your whole persona is an elaborate troll (if so than respect) or you're just a piece of shit?

@fantasticfugue9950 I know the first note is on the strong beat, the question is about the fourth note being on a weak beat, which I think is wrong
Hey i was wondering if you could troll on my compositions? Who knows it may make them more popular...@Whatismusic123
