    This is the best way and I never knew until now! Thanks Mike. Quick question, do you know if AA can counter peaks. I have some random drum beats file for about 1hr. Instead of counting how many drum hits manually is there a way to count the number automatically in AA? Counting the peaks?

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go to the window menu and check Amplitude Statistics.. You can then analyse the audio and you'll know how many potentially clipped samples the audio contains.

      @@MikeRussell Mike this is a great tool but I can’t get it to accurately count the drum hits. I trialled it with 20 hits which I manually counted but AA counted 322.

    Hello,and when we have recordings with saliva what can we do?I mean recordings from old vinyls. My friends tell me that it's impossible to de-ess recordings from vinyl that they have harsh -s and the removing of -s is only for vocals a capella or a dialogue.

    • @MikeRussell

      You can try the DeEsser but in processing you'd always apply the DeEsser to the raw voice so while it will remove sibilance it will also remove the same frequencies from the music.

    Hello Mikey, I would like to know what preset do you use for the video?

      Hi; this video is recorded from the output of my Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK mixing desk.

    Thank you for sharing this and I think you videos is very informative and intresting. One problem I have toug is the intro logo. The flashing between colour and white is close to a stroboscopic effect that could be bad for people with epelepsia so pleas adjust that. Other than that, thank you again.

    how can i record my pc desktop sound with adobe audition? I couldn't find a video on this topic :/

    • @tangierian
      @tangierian 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      don't think you can except if you can reroute your desktop audio to the mic and for that you need a software or something like a soundboard that can do it maybe there is a small software (banana voicemeter) works for that purpose or better just use OBS to record desktop audio

    • @MikeRussell
      @MikeRussell  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Set the input to stereo mix and this will record your desktop audio.
