This has got me feeling really Christmassy guys; the market, snow, silly (sorry) 'lovely' hats, mulled wine, bratwurst etc & Charlene decorating Tandy whilst trying to get 'bar-humbug' Chris a bit more enthusiastic has defo got me me in the mood. * The small green & red plant is a Poinsettia btw - I bought one today as I love them at Christmas :) Oh, & the pancake ... is a crepe 👍 Great Drone shots again Chris .... I have been doing very similar things to you two: going to Christmas markets, eating sausage rolls and drinking muled wine, love it. Traditionally in Germany we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve not Chrstmas Day with your family. So the whole family gathered in Regensburg round the Christmas tree arriving from all corners of Germany singing "Silent Night" and other Christmas songs, then we read the Christmas story frim the Bible: I wss the angel and I had to say to my wife, who was playing Mary: "Do not be afraid". Luckily that was my only line because I had had quite a bit of muled wine before. Then we had dinner. In eastern Bavaria you traditionally have sausages and Sauerkraut on Christmas Eve. After that the presents were exchanged and then we went to the cathedral to listen to the world famous boys choir, the Regensburger Domspatzen. I know, you filmed this video over a year ago and Christmas is long gone, but you got me in the Christmas spirit now, so there you have it: Happy Christmas to you two.
Haha yes but you definitely brought back some great memories with your comment. It seems like ages ago but we really enjoyed that Christmas/NY in Bavaria. We need to do it again 😊
