Norway is without doubt one of the world’s most beautiful countries. Your vlog brought back great memories of our road trip around the country. Enjoy and keep up the great aerial footage.
WOW absolutely love the scenery and the drone shots! Can't wait to drive up to Norway myself with my little van I'm building out right now :D Excited to see more, got yourself a new sub :)
OMG did I enjoy that! Last week I told you that Norway is my favorite country so far from all the countries I have visited. Of course I haven't been to as many places as you have but I can see it had the same effect on you. It's breathtakingly beautiful; the fjords, the waterfalls, the 360 degrees stunning views; it's just magical wherever you look. Can't wait for your next vlog! Thanks guys❤
Just come back from 11 weeks in Scandinavia travelling through Sweden, Finland and Norway. Norway is definitely the most spectacular. Got all the way to Nordkapp! Have fun.
Van life in Norway sounds like an incredible adventure, especially on the way to the Arctic Circle! 🚐 I’ve been to Norway myself in a camper, and I absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful country. The landscapes is so amazing, and it’s great to hear your first impressions. Looking forward to following along on this journey. Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad
All your videos are so scenic and this one was spectacular. really looking forward to travelling with you guys around Norway! So nice to see Holly on the mend xx
Norway - how spectacular - it has been on ny bucket list for a long time. A couple of years back I did a DNA-test with a company called 'Living-DNA', whose aim it is to prove that all people are related to one another, a big human family if you may, and that therefore racism and war don't make sense. I quite liked that philosophy and went with them. The DNA-test showed that some of my ancestors were Notwegian Vikings. Since finding out about that I have always wanted to go to Norway. Also the mountains and Fjordes make quite a change to the tranquil forrest and lakes of Sweeden which were absolutely beautiful and are defenitely worth visiting, but are also a bit same-y, if there is a word like that. I am really excited what's to come next in your adventure.
You were very lucky when you parked near the Opera house in Oslo, we tried today but it’s now a building site and filled with a big wheel! Shame as it’s an amazing place to be by what we saw.
Hey C2H, I finally got round to finishing off this VLOG which I've viewed in stages & Wow guys, it is absolutely stunning (& makes you want to run outside & jump in the van)!! ... Ready or not! Fantastic footage of the amazing scenery - great drone shots Chris, thank you I really, really want to go there - it's HIGH on my 'Bucket List' Drive safe, stay safe & look out for each other! *Great to see Holly back to her usual self 😊 N1S Kev x
I live in Sweden but love Norway’s nature more. Crazy nice mountains and fjords! ❤ Being there makes you feel so small and unimportant for lack of a better word… 😂
What a difference a week makes. Oslo looks so interesting and that waterfall is just amazing. Definitely some similarities to North West Scotland, but on a bigger scale. Safe travels through Norway and keep an eye out for the bears. 😉
Hiya, wow fantastic waterfall, it looks so clean there not like here. Am so pleased that little Holly is doing ok. In slot of pain going back to sleep, take care 😘. Kisses for Holly X X X ❤
Yeah it's huge !! The drive from Oslo to the fjords is just a tiny fraction of the country and it was already really long... but equally beautiful. We were blown away 😊
Norway is a campers paradise. Right to roam coupled with the most stunning nature. I'll be back in September, as i usually travel in the shoulder seasons to avoid the worst of the crowds. Fuel funnily enough gets cheaper the further you get away from civilisation in Norway (but it still swings a lot) Sometimes the price difference is 6 NOK between two villages. I haven't really figured out the logic yet.. Western Norway (the fjordlands) is the most beautiful place on Earth.
Thank you, it's always a great idea to do that and Norway is indeed a campers paradise ! Yeah we quickly realised about the fuel because since we filmed this video we've just been finding cheaper and cheaper 😊 Hope you enjoy the vids ❤️
@@TravelTalesVlogs I'll definitely stick around and follow your trip. How are the crowds up there currently? Doesn't seem too bad from your videos. I usually use Park4Night to find good camp spots, but it seems like so does everyone else, so a lot of the good spots are pretty full by the evening.
the fuel prices can change a lot due to competition between different providers. You find this locally and it can be a huge difference, even for a short ride. So there are no logic to it. 15-20 years ago would you always find cheapest prices monday morning, but this have now changed
wow! You are doing a really good job filming and bringing the content for the viewer. But if the dronevideoes of Oslo is yours, you were lucky not to get arrested. Oslo city center is a "No fly zone" and you can get arrested for it. Just saying. Hope your hard drive will be fixed. Much love from Oslo.
Save money also while you are in Norway. You drink tap water and do not buy water in Norway. tap water is better than bottled water and this applies throughout the country if it is not clearly marked that it is not drinking- water. Fill up water at petrol stations or campsites - completely free. The same at restaurants and eateries - ask for tap water - not from bottles. Bottle water costs as much as Coca Cola
I would like to point out that Norway has strict laws on use of drones. Highly recommend you should inform yourself about the regulations ....which are all available on net. For example 4:08: Flying drone over the city is illegal. Tourists has been arrested, drone confiscated and heavily fined.
Thanks for your comment, yeah of course most countries have similar laws too. But for drone shots like the one you mentioned you need to look into it more because it's outside the restriction zone and even within is definitely also possible by applying beforehand
@@TravelTalesVlogs Don't know what "applying beforehand" are supposed to mean or do.... Your flying of drone are not according to the regulations..... So a meeting with the authorities on the matter will not go in your favour.
The great irony of Norway having expensive gas is that it is rich because of....oil. They collect all the profits from oil exports into a gigantic state oil fund that if divided up per citizen would make every single one a multi-millionaire. I believe the oil fund owns like 1.4% of all the worlds public companies. It's pretty insane.
Yeah was also just reading about their offshore setup this week... really interesting ! Regarding the fuel and lpg we also realised that it is not as expensive in the towns, so in fact we just filled up at the wrong station I think in the middle of nowhere 😵 lucky it wasn't a full tank. You live and learn 😊 See you in the next one !
@@TravelTalesVlogs the fuel prices in norway changes everyday, even multiple times in a single day. some days are more expensive than others. what i've found is that tuesday sometimes and saturday and sunday are usually the cheapest. still expensive however its a lot of money saved when doing a roadtrip through Norway.

Amazing looking country that.

Oh wow, it did seem kinda weird that we parked so central for free in a city haha ! Hope you enjoyed Oslo though 😊

Thank you, long time to wait for two operation ' s , but I am hopeful.
Thank you.
Looks amazing
Unbelievable Gary !
Yes, take the old roads as much as possible. Over the mountain is way better. Not faster but better.
So many options 😊😊
I think Langfoss is the most beautiful waterfall in Norway, but then again I live not far from it ❤
It's really impressive for sure 😃
Norway is around 4.6 times larger then Scotland. Narrow but extremly long. Been there many times its amazing.
Yeah it's huge !! The drive from Oslo to the fjords is just a tiny fraction of the country and it was already really long... but equally beautiful. We were blown away 😊

Norway must be a "have to" for all Campers ...
I hope you continue all the way to Kirkenes. By then you are east of Cairo ...
Love to follow you.
Thank you so much ❤️ let's see how far we get 😃
Where is that parking near Oslo Operahouse? I do not found any good parking i central Oslo.
We found it on an app called Park4Night but I think they put a Ferris wheel there right after we were there !

Thanks for your tip Glenn 🙏 we do this pretty much in a lot of places and then just make sure our water tank is clean as possible. So far so good 🙂
Norway is the most beautiful country in the world (I'm swedish so it's not easy to write this 😂) but damn it's expensive!!
Yeah it's absolutely stunning 😃
That's why we shop in Sweden. (In 2023, Norwegians did cross-border shopping for NOK 9.3 billion.)

Orcas way upp north Around the 70 degrea latitude arond Lofoten.
Yeah we were actually reading up on it after 😃 some amazing sightings in winter time in Senja & Lofoten 😯
Orcas are hunting in fjords in western Norway. Hardangerfjorden no exception.
Norway is more than fjords and Lofoten.. You miss out on alot of cool things and places when only focusing on these tourist traps..
So many amazing spots ❤️
