Wow!!!! Spectacular everywhere you look. Norway is amazingly beautiful so thank you for showing me parts of it that I would otherwise never have seen. Am going to come back to these videos and watch them over and over again, whenever I need to relax or unwind. Thank you ❤
Thanks for a wonderful video! I was born in Bodø, but have never been to Værøy. I have decided I have to go there next summer. ( I have been to the rest of Lofoten though, but you never get tired of Lofoten, at least in good weather)
Your journey through the Lofoten Islands is absolutely breathtaking! The stunning beaches and those epic peaks are making us want to book a trip to Norway ASAP. It’s inspiring to see you finally achieve something you’ve been dreaming about for so long! Thanks for sharing these beautiful moments with us every week, looking forward to more amazing adventures on Sundays! 🚐🌄✨
Fantastic filming again. Wow , and you were so lucky with the weather. My wife and me were i Lofoten, for 2 years ago in july, and we had rain, wind, 7 degrees and fog for three days. PS: You should edit the movie again, and delet all scenes with the building,. This is because you filmed in a location that is military and prohibited. If the police see the film, you could be sued afterwards because you have film of the location, as others also have commented here.
Wow 😲😲😲, what a stunning and beautiful place, it all looks so clean and tidy there doesn't it. Your legs must have been hurting time you all got to the top, thank you for taking me with you. Can't wait for next week. ❤ Take care X X X 💋's for Holly X X X
Loved your vlog, it's nice to see another TH-camr show what it's like in the summer months. In the winter it's beautiful and in the summer it's beautiful. Stay safe, have fun, and hopefully your hard drives are good still 😉. Harry @ (The Forgotten Nomad)
Thanks so much! 😊 Hard drives are spinning fine now so glad that we didn't lose these vlogs as they are truly our favs ❤️ More to come in the next few weeks !
I totally agree with you, Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and this vlog certainly illustrates this. I think this is one of your best - the aerial footage was superb and just loved it.
Hey C2H!! I've just been catching up on things after a busy few days! Wow, what an amazing VLOG!! - they just keep getting better & better! The scenery, aerial shots & pure blissful landscapes make me want to get in 'Rubz' even before she's finished lol. Well done for making those epic hikes on our behalf - absolutely wonderful!! Drive carefully, stay safe & look out for each other (particularly at height)!! N1S Kev x
Not sure if anyone has said this yet, I haven't read all the comments, but Å is not an A :) Å is its own letter in the Norwegian alphabet and it's pronunced like the A in "thAw". Å (á) is an old norse word that means small river, so all the places called Å are likely near a river or a river outlet :) Beautiful footage!
You both are among my favorites!! I so look forward to your beautiful videos every week. I must admit this one had me hanging on the edge of my seat. I am so afraid of heights, I feared for you both. It makes the palms of my hands sweat and tummy upset. Lol. But I watched every minute of it. Breathtaking 😊
Wow,,, amazing video I can hardly believe how lucky you were with the weather. It will surely be 50y until the next time you see such weather during the summer in the north of Norway😁
Wow, absolutely amazing scenery & beautiful sunsets. Dramatic landscapes & even the background music was fittingly dramatic too. The hikes were epic, thank you for sharing. Btw much prefer these long videos.Keep it up!
Hello Charlene and Chris ( Sorry Chris, but ladies first 😀) I always like to suggest nice places to visit to people, but after watching your Noway videos, I do not know what to suggest Norway is so beautiful, nothing that I suggest could ever beat it
Wow, wow wow! Your latest video of Lofoten is truly mesmeric and your drone footage is some of the best I've ever seen on TH-cam. Chris, we got a brief look of your drone at the end of the video but if I was looking to buy a similar one what should I look for? And Charlene, the way Holly climbed those mountains with you just shows how far she has recovered from her recent health scare. How old is Holly now? I'm so looking forward to your next adventure and so pleased you were able to recover all your files to share with us every Sunday.
Thanks so much ❤️ Holly is 10 years old and she is indeed back to normal 🐕 😀 My go to drone is the Mavic 2 Pro but DJI have some other great options too like the Mavic 3 and also now there is the Mavic Air series which has great quality too !
Lofoten is so beutiful! I'm from Sweden. A very good artist from Sweden lived some years in Lofoten. His name is Lars Lerin. Maybe du en you travel south you pass Sweden again. He have a really beutiful artgallery in Karlstad. Its called Sandgrund. So ut you pass I really recommend it. Thank's for a good channel. And you are so nice persons! 🤗
Fabulous scenery, it has been on my husbands wish list for some time and we will do it. Your drone footage is superb thank you so much for sharing. What time of year was this trip? Have you seen any caravans as we have a caravan not sure if it is viable.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it 🙂 Yeah we actually saw so many caravans in Norway ! We were there in July & August it was perfect weather for us, sure you'll love it too ❤️ And pretty much same as everywhere else, outside of summer... cooler weather but less people !
I went there in my van in the summer and it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. I want to go back and preferably when there are less people there. Maybe next year. You need more time there really. I only had a couple of days there since the drive there and back again was so long.
@@TravelTalesVlogs No you are not supposed to photograph the building. The building and area around it are restricted military installations. You could have gotten in to trouble!
You would definitely got arrested if the police had seen it. Specially since the war in Ukraine started there have been foreigners arrested from flying drones around military buildings with restrictions.
Stupid thing to do nr 1. Take photo of buildings clearly marked No photo. (But I guess it doesnt apply to you). (Even more) stupid thing to do nr 2: post the evidence on TH-cam.
If you visit this place you will see that the road continues through the satellite station buildings, and as per the sign we didn't take any photos or videos showing what's in there
@@cupoftea7319 Very angry Swede here? Pretty sure the sign is not from "försvarsmakten" in Sweden :) Besides the area is for people to walk, and pretty sure they don't keep any secrets out in the open, he also didn't film anything there.
@@peacefulminimalist2028 And why did you feel you had to step in and answer for them. I'm not angry 😅 but I was brought up, as most Swedes are, to respect prohibitions, when there is also a sign prohibiting cameras, the sign is there for a reason. Getting other followers' bitter comments against you, then I say thank you and unsubscribe, you caused the channel one less subscriber ☺

Thanks Bernardette, glad you are enjoying the Norway stories. They are also quickly becoming some of our favourite videos 😊
Very different from small Malta for sure! With a van and resources and camera and youtube - no borders!
And the roads are endless up in the north of Norway 😃
Amazing video, with some amazing views. Definitely a place on the bucket list.
Thank you - definitely got to be on the list ! 😊

Thank you ❤️ Yes definitely recommend + also Rost (the island next to Vaeroy) looked nice too. Indeed never tired of Lofoten ☺️

How stunning is that scenery. It was a joy to watch. Absolutely loved it but felt nervous when you were both near the edge of cliffs and looking down!

"No Photography" - takes the drone up 😂
The sign is for the satellite building, I guess so people don't take photos of inside

Why are you so disrespectful to other countries rules? It says fotografering forbudt, photograph forbidden for a reason, it also means filming
If you visit this place you will see that the road continues through the satellite station buildings, and as per the sign we didn't take any photos or videos showing what's in there
@ its a military area, the sign is from ”försvarsmakten” it is not mean inside the building
And flying a drone in protected or military area is forbidden and can be penalties fine or jail, so be careful by putting it on youtube

The stairs you have well up and down were laid by a number of men from Nepal, have more respect for photos prohibited please.
Yeah they did a great job 😀
