    Roger, i have your books for quite a few years now. Your videos just keep getting better as do your boats! Brilliant work and you're an inspiration to me and certainly many other sailors. Love your work!

    The great design you created just keeps paying off day by day right down to a simple plank seat. Thanks for sharing

    I smiled listening to you explain your seat , it is always a good feeling when something improvised to solve a problem turns out really well. You have spent a lot of time and energy rebuilding your boat, it is great you are finally getting to enjoy all that effort. Thanks for making and sharing, your videos are very helpful and inspirational.

    Love your swing chair/seat, it reminds me of my Glider Chair that I have on my Patio which is my favorite place to sit, the gentle back and forth movement is very relaxing and actually a therapeutic movement for aching knees. You have created a beautifully functional sailboat for arctic sailing.

    Hope you keep up with mounting the camera. It would have been a good shot of you explaining the swing. Great job. Thanks.

    I suggest you call your invention the "Hoisted Hatch Hassock" to go with your sail.

    I recently watch all the mim mim 2 bids and had a few questions. 1). How did you seal the mast where it enters the boat? 2). This is considered an unguided mast? In supported? 3). And do you have a heater for the cabin?

    • @junkming
      @junkming  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mast is sealed with a traditional hand-sewn canvas mast boot. Yes, it's an unstayed mast. No heater in the cabin but the hull is completely insulated. Re another question above: the Triple H sail gives no more or less balance adjustment than other junk rigs. It was designed for power, size and ease of construction.

      @@junkming no heater ?!?!?!? Madness. I would at least have my origio space heater with a few gallons of ethanol just in case a soaking occurs or for perhaps warming a third party in emergency situation
