It is amazing how good Polaris got in making these bikes with great technology, and how still so many issue for Harley with the Sportster S engine and technology, lot of complaints online of owners spending way too much time at the dealer to reset codes, engine issues etc

Was a real pleasure meeting you Bernie, pity the weather wasn't better! If you're ever down this way again, let me know and we can catch up for a coffee and chat.
Great sneak peak at the new range Paul. Just looking at you sitting on them I agree that, whilst they are all great bikes - the Chief really suits you! You made the right choice. I’ve recently added Bassani slash cut slip one to my 2022 Scout Bobber Twenty and OMG 😮- they were ridiculously loud!!!! Luckily the guys at Adelaide Indian dealers put me onto Terry at Redline exhaust. It took a couple goes but he managed to reduce the dbs without losing the sound or choking the motor. When I rode it home I couldn’t wipe the smile 😊 from my face!! I’m just waiting for my screen to be delivered and then I’m all set - once the weather improves of course. Terry is semi retired - but an absolute legend with exhausts. Highly recommended to anyone in Adelaide. 👍
Thanks Paul! Yeah after riding them, the Chief is still better option for me. I did try configuring a new Scout on the Indian Australia website but found myself trying to turn it into my Chief. :) Man these aftermarket pipes are loud, totally agree. Great to hear you found someone to get them sorted, they are so much nicer to ride when they are at a more reasonable volume. Which screen did you get?
The more I see the harder it feels to decide what im into more (yeah sit on them ride them I know) I think the issue for me Scout wise is I just, cant afford the wait time I'll be facing if thats how I go. MT09 was officially written off so first part of the waiting game is done, shoulder healing and funds being the next step. Its reallky nice having sdomeone local experiancing them on our roads rather than American ones, I really appreciate your channel and your video style Plus the glorious beard is great :P
I have an order on the Scout 101 but I am taking a serious look at the Sport Chief. I have seen your videos on the two bikes in the past. Would you still keep your chief over the 101?

Thanks for leading the test ride today at Ballarat Indian. Great to meet you in person. The 101 is a fantastic machine.

That would be great Paul. Keen for that indeed.
I think the 101 is the one for me. Red or white?

@@BikesILike Your content has been helping me pass time as I recover from the hit & run its been very helpful
They all look great, it will be interesting to see how the Bobber’s rear suspension holds up on our great Aussie roads
6:20 ... nice boots Paul, which ones are they? A good opportunity for a review!
Cheers Jonathon, they're TXC Fuel waterproof boots. Planning to do a review once I've put them through their paces, so far flying colours!
Your content consistently brings me joy. As always❤
I think my next bike after my Vstar 650 will be one of these for sure

Yes, I wouldn't swap my Chief for a 101.
@@BikesILike I had a Scout and a Chief, the Scout is a much smaller bike and not as good on the Highway...... ok for around town, short trips.
Hopefully the weather holds up on Saturday, for the ride up from Melbourne.
True. The forecast is for rain unfortunately, hopefully it's only patchy!
Thank you
I had a 2019 Scout Classic.....I miss my Scout love my Chieftain though
I love the looks of the 101 the best.
How about a version with real fenders/mud guards for those of us who ride in any weather?

Nice 👍
