At the moment with my Halcyon Grey 350 Classic it can sometimes take me 10 minutes to get into the supermarket. If I had the Dark Horse I would be stuck in the car park even longer.

Good morning from the USA ! Great review of a great American motorcycle. Indian really is making stunning bikes giving the “ boys in Milwaukee” a big headache!
@@davidforsdike4343 The Harley’s or the Indians? I ask because there are subtle press releases for HD regarding the Thai built models destined for Australasia and Europe.
That engine is a thing of beauty all on its own...Indian is what Harley could have been, had Harley stayed on top of its game since the 70s...fantastic. And I don't even like cruisers! Also, Triumph take note, that's how you do a TFT dash without ruining a modern classic (I cant believe the cheap and nasty monstrosity they've dumped onto the premium 2025 Speed Twin 1200s which had such lovely elegant analogue/digital units prior)...
Great looking cruiser without a doubt. The Elephant in the Room is the awful, laggy display in my opinion. Even you found it a bit frustrating. Most of the information that you need is available on google maps (and who doesn’t have a phone?) How much cooler if you had a nice analog speedo with just basic trips and fuel gauge. It is though the Indian manufacturers were trying too hard to put a modern twist on an otherwise great bike. I realise that I may be the only one who thinks this. Great review.
@logangodofcandy Takes people a wile to discover the normal bikes. Horsepower figures are drummed into us by reviews etc. I should have bought a transalp 600 in 1997 not a kawasaki ZX-6. But look at all that Horsepower.

I have to admit - that's a good looking bike and I'm not usually a fan of that type of bike. I can see how cool the instruments are - but I much prefer a pair of analog gauges like you have on your Bonneville. Another GREAT video - as always. Thanks Freddie

Bought one of these a few months ago. Can tell you its got around 85hp at the rear wheel. The satnav can bug out when you turn the bike off then turn it back on shortly afterwards, which is annoying when you refuel. The stock seat is only good for around half an hour of riding after that it becomes really quite uncomfortable. Range on the tank is around 200miles. And last of all out of all the bikes I've owned it's by far the one that gets the most attention, I literally get random people coming up to me to let me know it's the coolest bike they've ever seen.
Here in the U.S. I actually don't see Indians as much as HD's but when I do they make me appreciate their sound and design MUCH better than a typical Harley in every block & same old design. Many of my friends made the switch from a Harley after subpar design and reliability to an Indian and absolutely love them & never looked back

Interesting bike, slightly pretty. I remember seeing the original Indian scout bobber at the Montreal motorcycle show in 2013 I think? That was a lovely looking bike the cylinders look like they were sandcast. It had a very original and classic look it was also $10,000 The issue with Indians now is they are so expensive and a lot of that originality has disappeared. If you put a Harley badge on this bike, nobody was really know the difference. For my money, the Triumph Bobber would be the winner, better handling, more affordable, better looking…And potentially a better resale value? All the same I’m glad to see that you’re riding a bike that you desire and showing us all ,keep up the great work. Hi Monica!
Brilliant stuff Freddie and what a fabulous machine. Can't wait to see the next few videos you will make while you have this bike. How about getting up to North Wales on it? Phil, Llangollen.
I'm just not a fan of TFT instruments, and that's the best-looking one I've seen so far. There's just something reassuring about a needle on a dial, no waiting around while it cycles through warning screens, no reflections obscuring the view. But other than the dash, and those huge tail pipes and them not giving you a pillion seat and... and... I do actually like it.
I bought a brand new bike in 2014 and it has needles for the rpm and the speed. After everything started coming with a TFt even 125's I though how old fashioned it seemed. Since then I have no desire for a TFt at all. I know somewhere down the line the TFt will have unfixable issues it's just how technology works.
Oh Freddie, you lucky so and so. That's my dream bike also🤗 One day, when I win lotto perhaps 🤑 Can't wait to see your future videos with this beautiful bike.
Great intro to a sexy bike. Looking forward to more from you on this icon. I’m in the market for a cruiser/mile muncher and I’m constantly torn between options (big, small, Honda, Royal Enfield, Harley and Indian). All have pros and cons. I’m enjoying my new Honda CBR650R but I’m an old fart and in need of a cruiser to add to the stable. Keep the great content coming.
👍 take a ride up to Wells Next the sea and back down the coast road then over Reedham Ferry . A nice route , small adventure, a good day out from Ipswich 😁 . Lovely looking bike but lack of storage space ..
Hey Freddie. Great bike, great vid. Note about the origin of name Indian (the native American and Canadian people). I too had been taught that Columbus called them Indians because he thought he was India so he just called them Indians, but in fact, that is actually incorrect. I had always thought that was true until recently, when I found out the truth, and that India was not called India until 1950. And in fact he called them Indian because in a very old language (possibly latin I cant remember) Indian- translates roughly to “children of god”. Love hearing your little bits of history Freddie. Don’t change a thing about your content… just more of it. Much love from Canada.
Thats wrong, India has been known as India for centuries. It became a republic in 1950 that's all. For instance, there was a company called The East India Company founded in 1600 to trade from that region to the Uk and Europe. (The Spanish had already been trading for some time previously) .However I'd be interested in why you believe that Columbus called them Indian as Children of God and not because he thought he'd landed in India as his expedition set out to find the other side of India. He actually called them Red Indian due to their skin and hair colouring
@@richardbartlett6932Well, perhaps I am wrong then. But this is the story I had recently been made aware of. At this point, its hard to know, and prove the exact truth when we are talking anything over 300 years ago.

It looks a lot like the street bob i had 10 years ago.
Post more pictures like you did with the scout bobber and the vintage dark horse
Brilliant stuff Freddie and what a fabulous machine. Can't wait to see the next few videos you will make while you have this bike. How about getting up to North Wales on it? Phil, Llangollen.
By far the best you've looked on any bike, Mr Dobbs ❤ Buy buy buy
That’s very kind of you to say so- this may be my favourite bike🖤
Watching you demonstrate the binacle functions while wearing gloves, I was getting a bit of a Rik from The Young Ones vibe. So funny.
Totally agree- on all points
I bought a brand new bike in 2014 and it has needles for the rpm and the speed. After everything started coming with a TFt even 125's I though how old fashioned it seemed. Since then I have no desire for a TFt at all. I know somewhere down the line the TFt will have unfixable issues it's just how technology works.
2:44 just look at the artwork of that engine and cylinder head 😊
What a beauty!!
Love the spoked wheels, its what crusiser should have in my opinion.
She will be my next after my Scout Bobber ❤
What a beast, loving that engine note 👍
Oh Freddie, you lucky so and so. That's my dream bike also🤗 One day, when I win lotto perhaps 🤑
Can't wait to see your future videos with this beautiful bike.
I’m over the moon to have this!😃
Looks very similar to the Honda CMX 1100,
Electronic read out ,not so good ,can imagine that clock getting scratched easily 👍
beautiful machine
Love the bike. Loathe the electronics. Thanks for the video.
Very nice indeed. If there is a bike to tempt me away from my Super Meteor 650, this would be it. Looking forward to a long term review. 🙏
Very enjoyable video as always. Can’t help thinking that the tech detracts from what should be a very pure motorcycle.
Bonnevilles and Honda’s look amazing in red! 🤷♂️
Stunning😊
Freddie, They make 122hp which isnt to be sniffed at, good torque figure too. Not my stlye of bike but i can see the attraction. Quility video as ever
(The Spanish had already been trading for some time previously)
.However I'd be interested in why you believe that Columbus called them Indian as Children of God and not because he thought he'd landed in India as his expedition set out to find the other side of India. He actually called them Red Indian due to their skin and hair colouring
@@richardbartlett6932Well, perhaps I am wrong then. But this is the story I had recently been made aware of. At this point, its hard to know, and prove the exact truth when we are talking anything over 300 years ago.
