Hi. Great video, really enjoying the series..With bi-folds do you have to fit them to the sole plate? Is there other options e.g. fixing directly into the concrete slab or on a thinner piece of timber e.g. 25mm?

Thanks very much! We just screw them into the wall plate as shown. Works just fine. Can screw them into the concrete without the wall plate but then your threshold is going to be very low and wouldn’t allow room for insulation 👍

Great video series! What size is the sill when you're using 4x2 and double battens? Where do you get your doors from? Thanks.

What is the height of the doors? Are they standard 2090mm?

I'm also thinking the same, struggling to get my head round how these can be 2090 with a 200mm lintel and 45 floor plate. Would give a total of 2335 and the rest of the front wall appeared to be 2270.
