- Last weekend I have visited RACE 1000 in Germany where I filmed this amazing 2500HP Audi R8 V10 Twin Turbo by A9 Performance in action on the half mile. It did an amazing 1/2 Mile @ 379,74 km/h (235,98 mph) which means it's a new European record for the half mile. Enjoy the video!

When i went to germany back in 2009, the audi r8 was king of the autobahn, in my opinion. Nothing passed me out on the autobahn, at a higher rate of speed, than the audi r8!

That's cute. Was heading to Helsinki via Poland with F30 335i tuned to 420hp and one R8 and one E-Tron GT of course tried to confront me in the motorway after Warsaw...I literally humiliated them. I drive this F30 since 2020 and I was never,EVER beaten by Audi!. I am ready to place 10 grand vs anyone who is willing to try.

You just need a launch without wheelspin and that's exactly what he did there. Kind of a rolling start.

What’s crazy is when I was a kid in the 90s the Jaguar XJ can’t remember the 3 L V6 twin turbo that was the fastest car in the world at the time 250 mph and cause of all brake horsepower can’t even do that. Never understood this

The gearbox is mechanically adjusted to achieve this speed, right? I think that originally it can only reach 350, but I could be wrong, please, an expert can enlighten me, thank you.
I doubt there's anything stock in there (at least the drive train... body/design is stock except the chute)
If I remember correctly the owner said the gearbox is limited at 396 kph at 10k rpm at the moment
Of course the gearbox is adjusted 😂😂 it's a 2500hp built there's absolutely nothing stock
Original gearbox ends at exact 354.5 km/h in the v10 plus, the normal r8 has longer gear ratios, this gearbox is modded
