You can get less expensive meals by dehydrating your own. However, there is the cost of the dehydrator, the time it takes, etc.
But, you do know exactly what is in your meals. I've done some pretty good ones for kayak trips. Of course I always had my PFD ... Oh wait, this was a food review, I'll put my soapbox away.😊

For sure, dehydrated and vacuum sealed meals save a bundle. Beans and rice are cheap and have a very long shelf life. I do not have a dehydrator, but it might be something to look at. Appreciate the comment, Mike 👍

Nice review Jim. I like how the boiling water doesn't come In contact with the food. Yep 270 cal that ain't enough for a Texan😅. Thanks for sharing have a good day.

We are a big fans of freeze dried meals. I carry some with is everywhere. I will have to check out that brand!
