Teardrop Camping at Sandy Creek COE Gator Park - Relaxation at Angelina National Forest in Jasper TX
Touring and Trails visit another Corp of Engineers Campground in the Angelina National Forest. We go looking for gators and did spot a small one in the lake. Talking to a few locals and they can confirm many gators hang out around the boat ramps. This is a great place, and we highly recommend putting this on your to do list. When Martin Dies is full, this a great alternative just south of it (there's even a hiking trail that connects them). There's also Magnolia Ridge on Steinhagen too. This is a nice one though- cool kayaking through the cypress along the shoreline.
We enjoyed our stay at Martin Dies last year but it was very full. This is a great alternative at a slower pace.
I love that cooking rack set up. Can you share any info on it? New sub!
Appreciate the sub, for this campout we used the grill ring provided by the park. We bring our collapsable rack from Academy when cooking over fire but got lucky this time.
Too hot for the mosquitos!! LOL perfect time for cold snacks. Gotta love the AC on that 10 SS.

You might want to say what state you’re in, unless someone is from around there they wouldn’t know where Purtis creek is. Gave you a TU for badmouthing the loosers that litter , what’s up with that ? I just picked up a Hiker camper so thanks for the gear ideas.

Just got my 2022 F.Ranger Latiat TREMOR and I’m loving it. First time pickup owner / Ford owner. First thing I did was take the TREMOR decals off and now replacing the grill. Dual exhaust coming next. 🤙🏼

Fill up the tank before turning in and run on eco. Cool night of rest. I have a standard 110 window unit in my camper.
Broke timing belt that’s it and she will probably start. It’s the plastic cover on the front of the engine

Just got the same one for storm power outages. I live in the southeast so it will be used as part of my hurricane preparation kit. Going to do the setup and test it this weekend to insure it will meet my basic needs.

Nice addition to the bush whacker! We picked up the pulsar dual fuel 4000w for the van. We paid about 100.00 more than you. We love it!! Just what we need for summer boondocking.
4000w will do a great job for the van. Only way to boondock with the TX humidity.
