Yup...it's 11 below wind chill and snowing outside, so I made a bigly cup of hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint schnapps and settled in. Life is good.
Oh ....my.....gosh... MAMMA!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Boss, we love ya both and the pups.. The talk about using the tools our creator gave each of us, gave me a lump in my throat. My husband and I do the best we can to teach our 6 boys how to do as God would have us too. To not get distracted by all the entertainment, but to be men of integrity, dependability and honesty. @@davidlee0817 From Houston Never fails. Every winter everyone is talking about the cold and how to be careful. Then they get in their cars on ice covered freeways, driving like a bat out of hell and they are surprised when their car slides into another causing a traffic backup.

OMG I laughed quite a bit @ Lori. I enjoyed her "look @ me" mockery!!! 😁😁 I never saw myself (or my husband) living off grid but here we are on our acre+ & trying to survive. I appreciate your videos because they teach/show how to accomplish tasks on the property.

Laughing so hard I have tears! I think I know exactly who you're copying, and if not I'm thankful that I haven't gotten a another poor suggestion from TH-cam! All those years I spent living in Maine and Vermont not knowing that all I had to do was call it "Off Grid" instead of living on Mill Hollow Rd and I could have had a channel of my own. Cows came through the fence, the dangers of being off grid. Bringing in more wood to the mud room before the storm, preparing for a life and death situation Off Grid. If we only knew we wouldn't have called it living like the neighbors do. Lol

Yes! My hubby’s inspiration as a child was Grizzly Adams! He has always wanted to live this lifestyle since!
We are pretty much in the same lifestyle as you are. It's 10:15 and I just came into the cabin from snow shoveling, like my pathway to the outhouse. Sorry to report didn't have any time between the shoveling and freeing the solar panels from the snow load to show of the behind.
Oh my heavens, I laughed so hard at the spoof that I got tears in my eyes! it was perfect! When I see some of the thumbnails for off grid with women posing semi naked or butts out .... well I find that offensive for all woman-kind. We women work hard to be appreciated for more than our looks (or butts..laughing). Now I sure love compliments just like any person, but I also want to be cared for and about for who I am aside from all that. After all, looks only last so long but the rest of me continues (and grows wise and I think our sense of humor improves w/age). I am reading a book where a woman is remembering her grandmother for allowing her to help plant a garden. Her dad wouldn't because she couldn't keep the rows straight. The grandmother didn't give a hoot about straight rows. The potatoes grew all over sometimes crossing into the spinach which curved around the tomatoes. It was less of a garden than a living salad but when it all came out of the ground the grandmother remarked how smart she was to have performed such a miracle (book is Tisha...about a woman who was a teacher in Alaska in 1927-true story)

OMG that was fabulous and great. Love that mocking the Mockery. They are so ridiculous. We are off grid as well . Here in Tennessee. Living in our shed while waiting for the Spring weather to break so we can pour the footings for the house. At 60 and 65 years old we don't hang around with our shirt off much trying to get attention. We are taking down trees burning brush and milling it into lumber and beams. We find the joy in every day life.

Oh my goodness, I never laughed so hard, but so true. On the greenhouse I'm up at about seven thousand feet get pretty good son probably five sick days of the week but temps get down to 0 and 20 degrees above 0. Do you think this would work here? Keep up the good work we love you.

Walton's and Little House were two of our few favorites in my family, I was already in my early twenties when they came on tv, my siblings were in their late teens and twenty. I was the oldest of five kids! My folks early forties! Like clean wholesome shows!
