I took my carbs out last Wednesday and rebuilt them watching your video. I am installing them tomorrow. So say a prayer and cross your fingers for me. Thanks
I'll be doing more with this bike including a paint job as the year goes on...got to wait till after April to do the paint though cause I'm taking a couple week trip in April so funds for the trip come first
@@shuttersplainin8728 I just bought a 2006 royal star venture. Since I’m in NY, I have another 4 weeks or so until I can ride it home. Your channel and videos will get a thumbs up from me… also I subscribed. There seems to be few channels that look at the second Gen ventures. I will watch this video many times and I will be sharing with my friends. I fear that I am going to have to follow in your footsteps.
@Sam {the original Classic} awesome! Your feedback is always welcome! If you have any questions feel free. I'll be adding more videos soon on this baby!

Gonna do mine soon, I've ordered an upgraded kit from Ivan's tune products. It's supposed to make more power and improved throttle response. The people I know of who have used it says it makes the bike accelerate much faster.
Hi just found your video about the carburetor, can you please tell when you went on amazon, what did you put in for the search criteria, as I am trying to fix my carburetor on my royal star. Oem parts cheers brian
Yes in each Carb, I don't know the name either...remember though the first time I did them I did not have the FULL rebuild kit it was just a partial so the second time I ordered the full kit and it came with everything and then they worked cause I had a clogged jet
Hello. I have a bike like that too. Yamaha xvz 1200cm 1986. I would like to ask where you ordered the carburetor renewal kit. Could you send me the link..Thanks.
My buddy's RSV has the exact symptoms. Idles on choke but even the slightest roll of throttle kills it. Did you find one carb was worse, or all plugged or just did them all since you had them out?
In the end all 4 floats were sticking but I did find 1 jet that was clogged completely...I recommend buying the FULL rebuild that includes the jets and needle and everything
She runs like a dream now just make sure he gets a synced gouges set so they are synced properly...mine ended up being a tiny bit over 2 turns from seating
Did you get it fixed. Or did you have to take it to a shop. I have the same carburetor repair kit on my table as I write this. When I turn on the bike it starts leaking gas from the tube by the left air filter.
I did fix this...sounds like you got a float sticking just like I did...clean and rebuild all 4 as shown...make sure you get a tuning gauge kit for 4 carbs also...when you put it all back in turn tuning screws 2 times from seat...you may have to adjust about another half a turn after it's on but your tuning gouges will help you know that...also do not turn petcock full open on.
Just a question, on the carburator sinking screws, that little nozzle right next to the screw, is that we’re I would connect the lines for the carburator synchronizer. Thank you I just went over your video again😂. God bless you and your family, and have a blessed Sunday.
@djlcfpana1 no you will have a little nub with black caps on each carb and those are what you put the syncing tubes on, and then put back the caps when your done
I wasted over 2 thousand dollars at Powersport in Austin tx getting my carbs rebuilt, now my cat uses my bike as a cat bed.what a rip-off. Racist people.
Nice...! This is not easy project! 😮

Always start with a new fuel filter and work through the system.
It was the carbs but yes a new fuel filter was also added eventually
