Alien 3 has a convoluted and complex history and Fincher walked away from the movie mid-production, due to heavy producers interference, and doesn't even want to be listed as the director because that is not his movie. You should watch the extended cut (not Director's cut because Fincher didn't even want to return to do that) which makes a lot more sense and it looks like a completely different movie.
But David didn't create the Xenomophs. The mural in the Engineer structure in Prometheus, shows a Xenomorph creature in a mural on the wall and that was dated thousands of years ago 🤔🤔
The original two were fairly sound in terms of what happened, albeit some things could have been avoided if protocol was followed. But the shit seen in the "prequels" just made no sense whatsoever. Especially when they essentially tried to retcon and explain the origins, which didn't need explanation.

If you watch the deleted scenes of Prometheus there’s a dialogue between the engineer and David in which he says why they were going to exterminate us. “You are a civilization of Barbarians”
Please note that David did not create the xenomorphs. He merely tried to recreate them, hence why they look so different compared to the original. I don’t believe that was what Ridley Scott had in mind, I’m almost certain that he wanted the covenant story to be the origins of the xenomorph but the fans quickly rejected that seeing as it didn’t actually fit the timeline or lore.
I'm surprised you didn't offer what has always been the most plausible source of the xenomorph egg on the Sulaco, in my opinion. The alien queen was holding it with her tail. You never get a clear shot of her tail as she's chasing Ripley & Newt to the elevator. When the elevator carrying the queen reaches the level where Bishop picks up Ripley & Newt, her tail is once again obscured. Then, she left the egg in a safe location before disabling Bishop and hunting Ripley & Newt. 🤷🏻♂️
The most confusing part is when a biologist qualified enough to make the trip touches a death worm acting like he’s a toddler. That enough proves the writing of these movies is atrocious, as if it couldn’t have attacked him when he was asleep or not looking
I just hate that people bring different ideas to the franchise and we gotta put the pieces together. They always leave something out and some stuff makes no sense at all. I love the franchise but dam it's so up and down. One true story would be nice for once.

It's too bad that the movies that were supposed to be made were never made, but the main story is already there: it's really about how parents treat their children and how many tend to treat their creations: with jealousy, fearing they will surpass them, be better than them, that their lives are inferior in comparison, etc. (whether that's human children, A.I., etc.) David at least broke this cycle: he loved his creation and wanted it to be better (a mix of him and Shaw, who he loved) but he was very messed up from being brought up by Wayland so he also exhibits great cruelty in turn, for example towards the engineers the ultimate creators, who planned to wipeout all humanity with the bioweapon Shaw's team finds. David knows and understands that the engineers are exactly like Wayland, so he kills them all.
True but they have been made so it's kinda weird. I didn't mind the first one, inside the pyramid, but the second one is one of the worst movies ever and the reason why we should never see the Xenomorphs on Earth: it just doesn't work.

The Predators we got used to see them on Earth from the get go but for the Xenomorphs it doesn't work, it did not for me for sure.
It contradicts the Alien movies. The themes in the Alien movies, is that if the xenomorphs reached earth, they would spread and take over, dooming the earth. This is why Ellen Ripley is stopping(and died) the xenomorphs from reaching earth. But the AvP movies says the xenomorphs were already on earth, and nothing bad ever happened. AvPR is the most guilty, since the xenomorphs threat was easily dealt with, by nuking. So AvPR says the xenomorphs are only town level threats, and not global threats Ellen Ripley makes them out to be.

Maybe she was correct in assuming that the Xenos were too much to handle for humans but AVP showed us that Predators have been handling them for ages taking all the measures (a pyramid on an island in Antarctica loaded with nukes) to contain them even when they escaped. The movies could have been incorporated into the canon because just saying they are not canon doesn't erase them from existence and just ends up confusing the story even more for the public at large.
