I had headphones all on while listening to this and didn't once hear fireworks. 👍

Great review! The front turn signals are the same as the DRL’s right under the headlights. And yes, that bump there on the headlights are the washers. :)

I liked the photos of the Targa 4S Anniversary so much that I bought two! I’m in the USA so my car is left-hand-drive. Before I bought the red, one I had ordered a white car, with a black interior and no NAV screen. It also doesn’t have the Fuchs style wheels. Like you said, this car is fully spec’d and even has the Sports Chrono package instrument in the top center of the dash. I went a little Porsche crazy and also bought three Ruf cars by Mini GT, which are the 1987 Yellowbird in yellow, a 992(?) CTR in green because it reminds me of a 911 I saw at my first autocross event as an adult, and a “Rodeo Concept” car. The Mini GT isn’t as accurate as the ALMOST REAL model, but it costs just over half of the AR and aesthetically, a couple of the omissions actually improve the look over the 1:1; I’m referring to the contrasting tan mud guards and the obnoxious blue Michelin logo on the tires. They also left off the leather hood straps, a couple of decals on the luggage rack, and they used paint to simulate the tow rope where AR uses an actual textile chord. Neither company used the beautiful Native American seat covers. 🕊

Although I got the AR Rodeo; had I known Mini GT was making one so soon after I would have bought that one to save $.

Great review (as always), I’ll definitely be getting this version of the Targa to complement my gentian blue one. Glad to see MiniGT’s recent QC issues are behind them. I’ll have to double check but I think this version has more detail in the cabin. I don’t remember either instrument decals or the colour change on their previous offering. All in all a very impressive iteration of the Targa.

This one belongs to the heritage edition series so more expensive and has more details. I think they are going to release a silver heritage version later this year.

@@stephens9227 Interesting 🤔. I snagged one last week and paid no more than my “regular MiniGT’s”. Admittedly this is Australia…. so it could be at a higher price point in the US. We tend to pay more here in Oz, so I’ll chalk that up as a win. The model is awesome btw.

@@marekhalas2438 Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. I was paying just a tiny bit more than the blue targa so I guess it could be negligible. I‘m curious how much you pay for the "regular" price to see how they charge the international shipping cost in the price tag.
