I got the 440-C old version of this that came with a leather sheath then, I've never been impressed it. Your new version with 8crmov13 will sharpen much easier than mine ever had.

The serrations are good, they sharpen quick. I'm most impressed it hasn't snapped in half. I'm pretty rough on this thing.

Finger tight glass breaker. Probably going to have to test that on a half busted skid steer window

The Cop Tool has been out for a while and I've always been tempted to buy one. I've been waiting to see a critique as to how well they worked in actual use, so I am looking forward to hearing how it performed for you. My EDC consists of a multitool, a small RUK utility knife, and a 3-1/4 inch steel pry tool. That combination has worked well. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for watching. I plan to do a 2week or month review after I beat it up a little.

I really hope so. I'll do another review after I use it for a couple weeks.

8crmov surprisingly is a decent steel for a budget steel I'd hate to see the price if they used a svn or cpm steel aus 8 or 10a would be another awesome steel to use

Agreed. 154cm is my favorite steel - but your right the price point would make it harder to justify.

This thing is legit, I have beat the crap out of it. I’m planning a update video where i show current condition after a couple months of hard use.

There is no 440c steel sold in china that is easy to purchase for making a knife, the chinese government imports 440c for the aviation industry but it has never been sold to the general manufacturing industry in any quantity. The price would be insanely high.. There is about 100% tax or more on steel imports in china.
These chinese steels are loosely based on various steel products from japan and the usa.
because these "higher end" steels were available in the late 1980s when cheap good quality soviet stainless steel vanished and when the military aid the us was providing declined (china received the billions per year of us aid money to buy american goods and weaponry) . Prior to 1989 the amount of aid america given was staggering. The bulk of us aid with only israel getting similar amounts. It was several percent of the chinese gdp.. Post 1989 it was still huge- billions in cash pear year atleast till the 2000snds. But there was no longer aviation and military aid for all their western military helicopters and aircraft and other things using good high carbon stainless steel.. So they had a need for better stainless steels and a growing economy and began making higher carbon stainless steels themselves anyway.. 8cr18mov and others are never actuially used in knives.. 2cr13 is standard 90% of all knives ..
It is 100% likely that knife is 3cr13 or 5cr15 steel.

Thanks for the info. It's stronger than I expected, I've abused this thing and it hasn't bent or broken.

@@b4lknifereviewstesting289 not a problem, there is alot of misinformation published by knife sellers and manufacturers that is just confusibg for customers or ismisleadibg.. For example most knives produced used 420 grade steels which are just fine for a knife when hardened properly, most carbon steel items are c45 or something like 1055 which again is just fine for a knife. I saw a review of a tramontina on youtube where the reviewer swar it was "1075" (a steel not used in brazil in machetes) but the manufacturer has never said what steel they use. And the steel the buy is a brazilian carbon steel like c45. (.45 %carbon).. But the customers what to believe its 1075 🤣. When i see knives from china saying d2 440c 1095 ect. I just ignore it.. Always presune a vhinese knife will have a low grade of steel and just hope its hardened well enough. Chinese cheat on hardness to save stones on the grinding machines and also because of steel being out of specifications and also heat treatment conpanies cheating (no chinese company ever does their own heat treatment the factories do assembly and grindibg and polishing normally only). From a person with 25 years in cutlery manufacturing .

I really like the USA, but if there is one thing I really hate about american culture it is that you are not even trying to pronounce names correctly. It is Böker, with an ö not an o. The ö is pronounced like the "i" in "girl" or the "o" in "world". This is really not that hard. If it would be some chinese or indian, I could understand it, but this is a European language, it is germanic for "beech tree". Also if you would be random person pronouncing it wrong, no big deal, but Sir, you are even making a video about the tool, check for 1 min. on google how to pronounce it.
Sorry for the rant but i think that is important.

Thanks for the thumbs up and comment, but I think your failing to realize even in America the "english" language that is spoken may sound different depending on what part of the country you are in... dialect or 'merican english. Unfortunately I my friend am from an area where people from the city would call me "country" it ain't easy to talk good English. Rely on Googles AI to tell you how it should be said if you want. 20 more years of devolution in the world and ill be surprised if a conversation like this will even exist. Written and spoken word be damned, turn the sound off and enjoy the knife porn.
