I started this channel to share my knife collection as well as my artwork. Symmetry in the physical and digital world.
My father owned and operated a multiple stores and businesses. As a teen I went along to auctions, Flea Markets, Swap meets, Gun/Knife shows as well as helped him with his online store/brick and mortar location.
His inventory was vast and ranged, but I locked on to the knives, survival, hunting and Tactical gear.
Over the years I have read and researched knife steels, the history of blades, multiple sharpening techniques and tools associated.
My love for creating art and expressing ideas started at a young age as well. I have never really locked down a style, my art is all over the place. From line work tribal designs to comic book characters and abstract.

SOG Pentagon - 2 week EDC review
My SOG Pentagon 2 week carry review. let me say this is a great knife overall. I do have an issue with the lock up design. I know it's not a hard use knife, but even as a tactical or Delf defense knife I don't trust the locking system.

7:40 axe throwing in case you want to skip the talking. This was fun, putting these things up against each other. Cold steel defintly my favorite authentically, but the estwing won. @csknives @estwingtools194 @estwingmfg.co.580 @SOGKnives

Cold Steel Tiger Claw CTSXHP cut test turkey meat
I just found one today new in the box for under 200 bucks its the version without the safety lock and man is it amazing
My old tanto point Recon 1 looked like that! After 10 years of hard use! I sold it and bought a new one with the tri-ad lock. My old one was AUS-8 blade with the axis lock...🤣
I have one
Great song great knife. With it came in plain edge with premium steel.
I think it's manly when looks like the tool it was made to be used as. But you could remove the coating totally if it bothers you?
I decided to leave it alone. I gave it to a friend of mine who needed a knife
That's a Japanese AUS-8A Model with the Tuff-Ex painted on coating. It does look like a great one to disassemble and wet sand and mirror polish out. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-) Note: Here's one of mine I restored: th-cam.com/video/KW0gjxh_Tgo/w-d-xo.html
Very nice
I have used guns enough times in the past. The problem with a gun is as soon as you pull the trigger you are responsible for every inch that bullet travels. You can hit your target perfectly but if the round over-penetrates and hits someone else you need to explain that too. A knife is a good option but it is crucial to get good position on the person you are attacking. Do not wave it around to use as a threat. Produce the weapon only when it is needed and you have decided to use it.
Agreed.
У Вас очень хороший и интересный блог. Желаю вам с сыном успехов!
Says it's 440c steel?
Yep
Every 15 years old teens wants this
Everyone needs one.
Just picked one up do you happen to know where I can get a sheath for it
I actually just scored another one on ebay that didn't have sheath. Looking for a sheath for it. I'll let u know if I find one
Damn..what in the hell. China eh?
What do you expect. GSM
Yeah gross, I’ve got the original ones made in South Africa!
Uagree with certain points made. I also. Thought why would you make a radical k ife with the spring like mechanism. Where if the spring brakes the knife is useless to the soldier. Not good. Still love the knife have 3 or 4 of the same. I'm also wondering where or who can replace the spring used in the event it breaks.
I saw one come up for sale in a local group last week and were looking at videos to help decide. This is the one that swayed me, and when it arrived today I was not disappointed. It's one of the sturdiest EDC tools I've used. Great video, exactly the kind of information you want rather than other videos obsessing over the steel type and if it has titanium screws. :D
Thank you. I try to keep it to basics and highlight actual daily life use.
I just loop a paracord lanyard through the clip on my knives with no hole. Works...
Push daggers might inly have a 2 inch blade but you can technically push it further than that
code 4 is so awesome i have tanto
Love the tanto.
I held one of these recently, I liked how thin it was yet offers a solid grip. Feels like a good work knife. I'm buying one on payday.
It was my first cold steel folder. Wish i could find another in cts xhp. I love this knife
My son Nathan says thanks for the nice review of his design.
Thanks for watching
still waiting for the amazon link
They stopped selling it a while ago. But here’s the link. www.amazon.com/Axe-Custom-Handmade-Carbon-Gorgeous/dp/B08VHPVH3P
Solid review. Well done. 😂
Thank you it was fun
Junk steel. CS is going downhill since GSM bought them out.
It defintly hasn't gotten any better. With all that money behind it.. i expected more.
😂 your son cracks me up. He sounds pretty smart
Thanks he's good kid. I learned doing flea markets and working in my dad's store... i guess he will have to learn this way about knives
Hey brother, can you carry upside down on belt?
You could flip clip around, but I recommend buying a teklock belt attachment.
That Buck is dull.
I ended up buying worksharp with guide. Got it razor sharp now.
It's meant to be a hard use knife, and boy did it get some hard use. Looks like it was used for coal mining or something. I would leave it the way it is. It's a knife with history.
I gave this as a gift to a friend that really appreciated the look. It really does give the knife a personality
الله أكبر سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم
Hail Satan
I've got the fixed blade version... Now, I "need" the folder of course lol! Great review...
I love this thing, It's my EDC fruit knife. Literally skin an apple in under a minute
اینو از کجا باید سفارش بدم من تو کشور نفرین شدهء ایران هستم
MAN, those are some pretty "NASTY" slashes on that meat! Gives you a pretty good perspective of the damage that claw can do... NO room for doubt either! Great video btw... Oh yeah, I bought the knife!!!
Nothing like it on the market. Thanks for watching
True Wig Splitter 🤯 if ever need for that 😊
Wall ornament for now.
Yes Indeed They take a wicked edge especially if you have the ability to do your own sharpening because the older Kukri machetes came dule without a edge ,but now they come somewhat sharp. The longer one without a edge ,the Magnum Kukri machete is furious when it has a good edge put on it. I used my Work Sharp to edge up both mine and they are now cutting beast.
Put your back into it GodDamn it!!
This is AUS8A steel. CTS-XHP and S35VN are both marked on the blade, and they changed the Cold Steel label also. They also switched to DLC at the same time
That's right. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Was the original coating just paint? Because I noticed my original Recon 1 finish wore really fast whereas the new ones basically are impossible to wear.
@@YourAverageReviews yes, the original was like "tuff-ex" coating or something, but it just immediately wears off. Everything is DLC now and it is very difficult to even scratch
I was thinking that maybe strip the paint completely and if it sticks - to gun blue the blade - if it works - it would look real nice
Лучше в желто голубой будет очень красиво !!! Сейчас этот цвет в моде !!!
Cool son ya got
I found one in a MIlitary surplus rucksack. it was immaculate besides being Spray painted Tan.
so the screws holding the pocket clip also works to hold together the scale with the liner? Asking because I want to remove the pocket clip, but it seems the screws without the pocket clip wont go all the way back in
Yes it all ties together.
@@b4lknifereviewstesting289 thank you!
Fear my butt. This is a knife for the sneaky guy who doesn't want the opponent to know he's armed, like me. I mind my own business, but I walk home alone just before dawn. Anyone I meet better behave.
No fear. Only for the aggressor.
I literally was just listening to this song on a different device ten crazy ass minutes ago. And it was because I haven't heard it in years. Props on that knife too btw. 👍
One of the future greats
Is that custom scales?
Kinda. I took a dremel and tried to mimic the rocky mount tread scales on a Buck/tops CSAR knife.
I have the same one! I bet you could use the measurements on the blade to tell you where to hold it for half spin throws from different distances!
Bruh that's just a shiv in the making.
I will call it "garden shiv"
That’s pretty cool.
It's pretty legit. Thinking I should get with HGTV and host a Garden Tool sellf defense episode.
Lol nice
Many uses for it.
It's a Hori Hori Japanese gardening tool...
Nice. Guess anything sharp can be used.
So that’s for planting those flowers that you get in a pack, with the skinny plastic pots. Basically you pop a hole in the landscaping and put the plant in the hole.
Makes a better throwing knife.
The measurements on the blade are so you know how deep to plant different types of seeds as your making the holes
I figured that was a penetration gauge for when your throwing.
