Loved this video. Very chill and thought-out explanation.
Thank you dude 😎
very good video
Thank you mate! Subscribe to my channel and don't miss any new video! ;-)
hi there
nice set up
about the spacer hanger for the derailleur
where I can get that ?
Hi mate! Here you can buy the extension: ebay.us/zUFy0h
Finally I found the video that I need. Can you offer a list with the part number of spare parts required? I noted that you use the same spacer as originally use the crankset, is right? Will be better use a reduced spacer? What do you recommend? Congratulation your video is excellent.
Thank you😊. You can find links of all the parts you need in the description! I recommend to use the same spacer I show in the video.
Will this work for my 2013 stumpjumper?
Yes, I think it's quite the same ;-)
@@MoExha I noticed you still kept the x9 derailleur instead of using the Shimano deore
@@barrylee5580 yes, because it's a 10 speed derailleur and fits that big 50t cassette only if you use the rear derailleur spacer ;-)
Specialized stumpjumper 27.5b 2016 . Can this bike be converted to 11 speed .
Hi mate, you have to replace the rear hub and the handlebar shifter with a 11 speed one ;-)
Thanks for reply, would a new wheel with 11 speed hub go into that frame, would frame be wide enough it’s a specialised evo comp 2016 27.5b regards ant
Yes, you have to buy a 27,5" wheel with an 11 speed hub and you're done😉
Thanks mo
@@lansdorf you're welcome mate😉
What cassette range did you have before? I'm not sure if my wife's older X.0 10 speed rear derailleur can handle a 46t cassette, even with a extender/spacer for the derailleur?
Hi, that bike originally came with a 11-36t 10 speed cassette. The bike on the video had an aftermarket 11-42t cassette without any spacer. As you can see, I fitted a spacer to for a 11-50t cassette. I think that you may need a spacer too for a 11-46t cassette.
How did you get the plastic caps? Mine has frame housing, and I would like to cover the holes.
I made them by myself 😉
My front cranks are way over tightened can’t get them off even with a hammer
Try with a lot of wd40 and let them absorb the lubricant for a while and try again😉
Hi Thanks for the video buddy I did the same thing I put back the 11/48 cassette in front of the oval star at 38 I have a rear derailleur, slx chain for 10 speeds but for some reason I can't get the derailleur to work on the biggest star ... Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Hi Alan, try to adjust the rear derailleur like shown approximately in the end of the video. The reasons you can't get the biggest star are two: first, adjust the screw named "L" on the rear derailleur, because it fix the maximum position on the biggest star of the cassette; second, adjust the tension of the shifter cable, because it may be a little loose so you can't reach the biggest star of the cassette 😉
hey mate, seen someone complaining of back pedalling causing chain derailment when running on the larger gears, did you have any issues?
Nope dude, it works perfectly 😉
I have almost the exact model of stumpjumper and am planning to go 1x10 or 11 if possible. Could you add a list of the items you bought to the description? Thanks!! Great video

where is this bikes dropper seatpost air pump thing?
I can’t understand your question dude…
@@MoExha how can pump the dropper post where is the valve
@@aslantuna247 on the handlebar
Ciao, il guidacatena che hai usato dove l'hai preso? Grazie
Ciao, era già installato sulla bici.
@@MoExha ah ok, sapresti dove procurarlo? grazie
A nice informative video, but the music got really annoying with the volume constantly bouncing up and down and usually louder than the speaking level when it was up.
Yeah, it's Synthwave mate😜
