👍 Ouch, take care of that foot. That was fun showing the camera getting blown off the roof 😎 and the whole video editing as always is a joy to watch. Kindness ♥️🌲 Thanks August
What a wonderful gift for our man up the tree. Thank for sharing the story August and your generosity ddalton. Communication keeps all the Beavers safe.
Glad the stump grinder has the mass not to climb over the stump, could be a little unnerving. Ouch! hope the foot feels better quickly, thanks for posting. Blessings.
Oh dang that hurt !!!! And it's gonna keep on giving !! Awesome the crane could be that close for some good capacity !!! Always a pleasure !!! Atta girl Deb ❤❤ that's way Awesome of you !!!
It's me Lorrie Mussett....for a minute there around 10:14 I was waiting for the ' The Thinker ' pose! BTW....HOLY COW I BET YOUR FOOT HURT AFTER THAT!!! THX August for all your connections with so many of us....no rest that foot a bit!
For me commenting on one of your videos means a lot as most people who I believe matter. Most people that view your videos know what they’re doing (I consider myself one of those) and judge accordingly. I’m just going to start commenting to get you more traction as I know you deserve it
@@AugustHunicke not showing off but been here since the early days and you definitely deserve more views in my humble opinion. So I’m just going to keep commenting to try and boost the algorithm. Thanks for your reply and best of luck with your endeavours. I know life can be tough but I think you ( with your experience ) is tougher
Our tree service gets its crane back soon! Super stoked to learn how to fly on the ball/hook... 🤩 Lots more work for the ground crew processing the tree on the deck instead of up in the air, lots to think about after watching this episode 🤔 Thanks for the continuing inspiration ya'll. 🤙 Hang loose everyone 😁 Maybe someday I can afford a #MonkeyBeaver harness too!
Well that looked painful and you didn't cut it out of the vedio. You tuff old burd you. Just keeping it real. But man your definitely going to feel that for a while good luck.
Hi August, why don't you use safety shoes, now they also make them in composite material and they are very light and very comfortable, what happened to your foot with these shoes would not have done you any damage. However it is always very informative and interesting to see your videos. Compliments. Greetings from ITALY Hi PIERO
Yep. Those asphalt edges. Was chunkin a stem. One piece didn’t land flat. It somersaulted its way to the asphalt and tore a chunk off the edge of a new driveway.
What would really be nice is to hear the full communication between the cutter and the crane operator. Is that possible? Seems like it takes a lot of tricky communication, that would be fun to hear.
God bless all the families I can for safety and less worry for with no insurance. So the Good Lord is a blessing for us all I needed t😊o slow down on video and better foundation and fun to for helping..
I hope your foot feels better soon. That hurts and I speak from experience on this! I see when you start, your climbing line is attached to your harness. Then in the next frame I see the line above where you are at. Do you climb up to the top and set your line then go down and start cutting?
When I set up cranes on cement or asphalt of questionable strength, or we are working on pristine new stuff, I have to break out the sand and use actual outrigger pads or crane mats. With even a small 75 ton or 100 ton crane, you can easily see 80,000# on an outrigger if you are getting up in the chart. I know, that's excessive for what you are usually doing.
It's a shame, such a beautiful healthy tree, growing in the wrong place. I just want to hug it and push my face into its foliage, I'm sure it had such a nice personality. RIP.
Tree care/arborist question - should a person remove the beginning of co-dominance on young trees, say 2' to 8' tall, I have a couple of 2' tall blue spruce that show the start of it? Or let nature take it's course?
Didn’t you make a video where the old guy was fishing and he has a dollar at the end of his rod saying you gotta be quicker than that sorry to bring it up but that’s what I thought of when you didn’t get your foot out of the way
Damian is being borrowed by Reon Rounds in Wisconsin for some disaster relief. Joe was in this video helping with ground and chipper work. Jeff has been doing a bunch of contract climbing as well as running his own tree co. Adam, well I'm not positive but he may be wildland firefighting.

Debbie Dalton 👍👏🙏

After the Manhattan debacle a good story was definitely welcome. Thanks to D Dalton.
Tree work 101. Know where the tree is going to tip and put yourself not there. Great work as always
Evan....too!!! Nice to see you guys!
0:11 I assure you all who is watching this who doesn't know, but that hurts a LOT!! Each of those mats weigh more than 80 pounds
Thankfully, there are some good people in this world! Keep it up! God bless!
Another quality job great team effort as always thank you for taking us along with you 👍🏴
That stump grinder was hungry, pretty cool!
What a wonderful gift for our man up the tree. Thank for sharing the story August and your generosity ddalton. Communication keeps all the Beavers safe.

Enjoyed the video. Super crane rigging. You da man, August. Thanks for sharing.....and the excellent camera angles.
Well that was awesome and something I have never done! Two tops at once. Nice work climber. That was sweet.
Man, could I use that chipper for a day. 🤣 See you on the next one.
Whoa that foot must have been really painful to climb with! Great video as always!

My word I do go on a bit but anyone who knows me knows that
I know that hurt. Hope the foot is better. Despite the shape our country is in, there are still good people willing to help.
Great videography! A beautiful day! August at his best!❤❤❤
The cadence of videos dropping lately is amazing. A new August video almost everyday! !
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!
nice segment August. a little different than most. its unbelievable the diameter wood the chipper takes. thanks for sharing.

Ha! That twin cedar caused me to think of Esau and Jacob and how one was grabbed by the heal as they wrestled in the womb.
your extended family looks out for you…!
It's a two fer Tuesday.
Ouch..... sorry about the foot. Impressive ground crew.
I hope your foot is feeling a whole lot better after some well earned rest 🤟
I did that with a mat pulling it out of the bucket about 2 months ago. Right behind the steel toe. I was down for 2 weeks. I felt that.
Surprised yet again. I thought it looked a bit unsafe in the beginning, but you were elegant and efficient as per usual 💪 Thanks again for sharing ❤
Great way to start the job lol that’s how my luck is sometimes. Luckily working in the trees builds us differently. 💪🏼

Love to keep watching but one of my 020 need love , got to mix gas , and see if I can afford the new guy . 4:41 am signing off .
Debbie Dalton 🙏🏾
Got a 500I 32 and 36 it's going to make so much time up
Hey August, did you see the video of a tree guy dropping the top out with his climb line attached above him and his safety belt below the cut?
God bless all the families I can for safety and less worry for with no insurance. So the Good Lord is a blessing for us all I needed t😊o slow down on video and better foundation and fun to for helping..
Nice tree removal work
By the way your yellow jackets were pretty sharp that day . Stay safe on steep inclines.

Algorithmic comment, boom
Let’s goo
Lorrie Mussett.....What's up Joe!!!!!
First comment after 30 seconds of this video…”ouch “ and some other unsavoury words!!!
It's instinctive to stick your foot underneath something you drop, although it's usually not a good idea...
Yee hard set up'
What exactly were you trying to do with your foot 😂
Obvious: he not only tried to catch the plate, but also succeeded 😝
@August: hope it's not too bad and you're getting well.
It's a shame, such a beautiful healthy tree, growing in the wrong place. I just want to hug it and push my face into its foliage, I'm sure it had such a nice personality. RIP.
I flinch when I see you flinch, August! Gotta ❤ it though! #MonkeyBeaver #MadeForThis
Hope the foot is ok. What is the best bang for the buck in as far as helmet communication in your opinion? Stay safe homie.
Great to have the space tho.
How much weight does a tree lose after being run through a chipper?
What grapple do you have on your machine?
wow, first view and comment. lol.

Remove
I want to learn how to crane with you
Didn’t you make a video where the old guy was fishing and he has a dollar at the end of his rod saying you gotta be quicker than that sorry to bring it up but that’s what I thought of when you didn’t get your foot out of the way
Unkers for the foot
August Hunicke and his team eat trees for breakfast.
Just wondering where is the OG crew? Not complaining just asking hope all is well!
Sorry, August.
DEAR AUGUST
i dont see jeff any more and also the ground guy i forget his name in the latest videos.
I hope its not rude that i ask.
Jeff has been doing a bunch of contract climbing as well as running his own tree co. Also August helped Jeff start a YT channel a while back. Oh and Jeff hangs axe heads on new handles. Adam, well I'm not positive but he may be wildland firefighting.
1st in for once !! 🤣
So after all that fun work in the tree and on the roof you ended up back in the old grind. 🤔
...and have nothing to show for it. ;-)
