I think he would have loved the Lake District, especially the area around Keswick. The lakes are incredibly beautiful in early summer, when the sun comes out after the rain. Just think what it would have been like, if someone had suggested visiting the Lakes, and if he had gone and decided to stay there, far from the glitz and grandeur of Hollywood and everything so false, shallow and superficial about it.
He was a very sweet dear boy. Fantastic talent. He put the weight of the world on his shoulders. In the end, sadly, Hollywood just ate him alive. Gone at 23. A drug overdose. Another cautionary tale. I can't believe he's gone nearly 30 years.

I just noticed that the crowd is full of teenage girls and ALL of them have the exact same hair color! I was one of the teenyboppers that loved River back in the day but now I feel sorry for him after watching this.
