The thing that bothered me was knowing he had had someone waiting in the wings as a secret confidante before I ever approached him about a divorce. When it appeared he had found himself a narcissist I hoped they both lived "happily ever after" as only two narcissists could.
Don’t be bothered for one second! Look at it this way…. She saved your life.! She will suffer eventually! The first time I caught my husband cheating I was devastated, and I took him back just so I wouldn’t lose everything that I have, but that was materialistic things. Second time I caught him cheating. I realize that I did have the upper hand.! And I was saving myself this time! He can stay with his piece of shit, any woman who even dates a married man is a trashy woman with no self-respect, and they deserve each other! You will now live a peaceful life without the control that was bestowed upon you

After 26 yrs it took 5 years of going through a divorce (finalised in 2000) from the ex, and I understand this is what I was doing!!!🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Using HGs detector test (approx 2 years ago)and finding out I am an Empath, so now understand it was me, stopping me from moving on!!! This definitely applies to friends as well! Have you ever had like a great best friend that you loved and admired and when that person comes across a new person in their lives, they completely dumped you ? It’s happened to me several times. I didn’t understand that it was narcissism at the time and I always blame myself that maybe I was not being a good enough friend. But I know now that I am actually a very nice friend and I’m loyal and caring and I go above and beyond for people. So it definitely goes for friends as well.
In my mind I went back decades ago to a relationship that I felt exactly the same.
At the time I didn’t know what a Narcissist was.

Thank you so much for this. I have watched it before but it was still good to hear it again. My ex insults me and my children by talking about his new love. It’s. Very painful and hurtful to my children. I don’t care that he has a new partner I’m glad he’s leaving me alone. But by saying they are finally together after all these years. They have always loved each other etc makes my children feel like he never loved us. And to plunge the knife even deeper people they knew are making comments saying oh we’re so happy for you. You’re finally got together with your soul mate etc. I’ve shown my children your channel and they have said it has helped them to understand why he does what he does.

So what happens when the narcissist ends up with a narcissist? I know of two cases personally of narcissists marrying one another rather rapidly. At least one was a psychopath or sociopath.
