I recently had a similar issue, it might have to do with your sample rate of your recordings. No idea how you are doing things and maybe that's not it, but I recently had the exact same issue while recording some guitar and the reason was that my audio interface was set to 44100 Hz sample rate, but OBS (recording software) was recording in 48000. (Should be the same everywhere 😉) Maybe that helps 👍

Babymetal suggestion - DON"T do Gimme Chocolate as the first reaction. It is 10 years old and while it is great it is one of their most "gimmicky" songs. Start with Megitsune or Headbanger.
I see it completely differently. For a pop singer, “gimmi chocolate” is the perfect start. Megitsune would also be ok, though. But whatever the first reaction is, please live!!!

But please - Megitsune is the only song they have made where you have to see the music video. Moreover, Jami said she loved the combo of pop and metal. So, why not Headbanger? It is one of the best they have done. But, I think Megitsune is a good start. And then the music movie. Another good one is YAVA. Or why not Papaya.
For Headbanger I'd always recommend the Moametal live performance variant. Ofc slightly different not having Su sing the entire thing, but the crowd hype in that video is insanely infectious :D

Been a BabyMetal fan for going on a decade now and I'd 100% recommend monochrome (Live version from PIA arena). Its a true mix of pop and metal. theres also another collab music video with F-Hero and bodyslam w/ babymetal called 'Leave it all behind' which is fucking amazing
For a starter, pretty much any song from the PIA Arena 2023 shows are good, except for "Babymetal Death". You are not ready for that song yet. 😅 Then there are the early classics like: "Headbangeeer!!!" Live at Legend 1997 (2013). "Awadama Fever" "Iine!" Official MV (pronounced "EE-neh", not Line). Monochrome live at PIA 2023, Akatsuki Budakan Black Night 2014, Road of Resistance live in Japan 2015. There really are so many great BM songs and live shows, they are a true performance act and if possible watch live, any of these and you'll see what I mean. They started at the age of 11 and 12 and Played there fist arena show the night after Su-metal's 16th birthday to 8000. BM have superpowers so be careful. 🤘🤘🤘🦊🦊🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍 Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?
Babymetal is a gateway drug into some very interesting all female Japanese rock/metal bands. The "Big Three" are generally considered Band-Maid, Lovebites, and Nemophila. I personally prefer Hanabie over Lovebites, but Lovebites is incredibly talented.
One of the main reasond for this Collabs. Fans of one of the Groupsgets tempted to check out the other groups. Especially if they have different home markets. It raises the sales for the partner groups significantly. Especially if it can also get decent sales.
To watch their first hit, performed when they were ages 13 and 11, look for Doki Doki Morning. They also did a terrific collaboration with F. Hero and Bodyslam (“Leave it All Behind”)

If you're coming at it from the pop side of things, then something from BABYMETAL like Pa Pa Ya, Megitsune, Karate, Doki Doki Morning, Gimme Chocolate, or Monochrome. For more on the metal side of BABYMETAL, maybe Headbanger, Road of Resistance, BxMxC, or Ijime Dame Zettai. I always recommend newer live versions so you can see the choreography and see them in their current state, but some of the old music videos are pretty good too, though they are very young in the earliest vid (literally about 11 or12 years old). Just from your reaction to them, I think you will love them.

If you got like an hour to spare, you should watch the "Electric Callboy reacts to people reacting to Ratatata" video. Very interesting to hear them talk about the video shoot and collab in general... EC mention that they normally just take a more "wing it" approach and that they were pretty much intimidated at times because the BM Girls were so much more professional at the video shoot. Really entertaining video
I just got home after watching the premiere of (Ratatata). I was very tired but it was fun, it was great. BABYMETAL and Electronic Callboy were the best collaboration. When you react to BABYMETAL, it's the live version! BABYMETAL is not something to listen to, it's something to watch, or even better, something to experience. i was the same, i didnt care much for them, but then i saw them live when they were touring with sabaton and i was hooked, they had such amazing energy live!
Monochrome by BabyMetal is great! They have a piano version on The First Take which is pretty cool. Of course, the original metal version is epic as well.
New convert to Babymetal, and my personal favourites by them are Adawama Fever, Karate and Amore. But for something totally different for them, No rain no rainbow is beautiful.

Great reaction and yes you will love BABYMETAL, there is no defence once you've listened to Su-metal and she's had the effect she had on you with her first couple of notes.

The first 3 are from early in their career and the last song can show you just how great of a voice Su has.....these should get your journey into the fox hole started. I got to see them twice in concert last year and it was fantastic...out of the numerous concerts that I have been too, the Babymetal concert was by far the best of them all, and I plan on seeing them again when they come back around.

Babymetal suggestion - DON"T do Gimme Chocolate as the first reaction. It is 10 years old and while it is great it is one of their most "gimmicky" songs. Start with Megitsune or Headbanger.
I see it completely differently. For a pop singer, “gimmi chocolate” is the perfect start. Megitsune would also be ok, though. But whatever the first reaction is, please live!!!

@@jimnusbaum3589 Be bit careful here. Yes, live is best for Babymetal, in particular live in a huge Japanese venue. But please - Megitsune is the only song they have made where you have to see the music video.
Moreover, Jami said she loved the combo of pop and metal. So, why not Headbanger? It is one of the best they have done. But, I think Megitsune is a good start. And then the music movie. Another good one is YAVA. Or why not Papaya.
For Headbanger I'd always recommend the Moametal live performance variant. Ofc slightly different not having Su sing the entire thing, but the crowd hype in that video is insanely infectious :D

Whatever Babymetal you watch, make sure it's live, their MVs are good, their live performances are incredible. Megitsune, Headbanger at Legend 1997, Ijime Dame Zettai, Monochrome, Light and Darkness....
Megitsune is best as music movie, the rest is best live. The music movie of Megitsune is a thing of art.
The only official Music Video I like better than a live video is "Karate". "Road of Resistance Live in Japan " is their magnum opus and the best concert footage known to man. imho

Babymetal Also did a small colab with Rob Halfor and Judas Priest and one of the girls played KK Downings leads note for note. Hard to believe they are under 16 years old
They're all over 20 now, but in some of their older songs they're 16 and under, yeah! By this point they've been playing live shows for over a decade.
Been a BabyMetal fan for going on a decade now and I'd 100% recommend monochrome (Live version from PIA arena). Its a true mix of pop and metal. theres also another collab music video with F-Hero and bodyslam w/ babymetal called 'Leave it all behind' which is fucking amazing

For a starter, pretty much any song from the PIA Arena 2023 shows are good, except for "Babymetal Death". You are not ready for that song yet. 😅
Then there are the early classics like:
"Headbangeeer!!!" Live at Legend 1997 (2013).
"Awadama Fever"
"Iine!" Official MV (pronounced "EE-neh", not Line).
"Uki Uki⭐Midnight" official PV
and so, so much more. Over 70 songs more and each one is different and unique. You cannot predict Babymetal. All you can do is expect the unexpected.

Monochrome live at PIA 2023, Akatsuki Budakan Black Night 2014, Road of Resistance live in Japan 2015. There really are so many great BM songs and live shows, they are a true performance act and if possible watch live, any of these and you'll see what I mean. They started at the age of 11 and 12 and Played there fist arena show the night after Su-metal's 16th birthday to 8000. BM have superpowers so be careful. 🤘🤘🤘🦊🦊🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍
Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?

Babymetal is a gateway drug into some very interesting all female Japanese rock/metal bands. The "Big Three" are generally considered Band-Maid, Lovebites, and Nemophila. I personally prefer Hanabie over Lovebites, but Lovebites is incredibly talented.
One of the main reasond for this Collabs. Fans of one of the Groupsgets tempted to check out the other groups. Especially if they have different home markets. It raises the sales for the partner groups significantly. Especially if it can also get decent sales.

If you're coming at it from the pop side of things, then something from BABYMETAL like Pa Pa Ya, Megitsune, Karate, Doki Doki Morning, Gimme Chocolate, or Monochrome. For more on the metal side of BABYMETAL, maybe Headbanger, Road of Resistance, BxMxC, or Ijime Dame Zettai. I always recommend newer live versions so you can see the choreography and see them in their current state, but some of the old music videos are pretty good too, though they are very young in the earliest vid (literally about 11 or12 years old). Just from your reaction to them, I think you will love them.

If you got like an hour to spare, you should watch the "Electric Callboy reacts to people reacting to Ratatata" video. Very interesting to hear them talk about the video shoot and collab in general... EC mention that they normally just take a more "wing it" approach and that they were pretty much intimidated at times because the BM Girls were so much more professional at the video shoot. Really entertaining video
I just got home after watching the premiere of (Ratatata). I was very tired but it was fun, it was great. BABYMETAL and Electronic Callboy were the best collaboration. When you react to BABYMETAL, it's the live version! BABYMETAL is not something to listen to, it's something to watch, or even better, something to experience. If you have the chance, please go to their live show.

Your first one has to be Headbangerrr. Literally any version ever recorded. Second one should be Rondo of Nightmare live. Su’s voice is phenomenal.
I Highly suggest Kingslayer by BMTH and BabyMetal, is such a great song, also u can watch the live performance they did together, its amazing.
Several of the everybody's near the end of the song, particularly the second "everybody" in the breakdown were done by Momometal, one of the girls.
Monochrome by BabyMetal is great! They have a piano version on The First Take which is pretty cool. Of course, the original metal version is epic as well.
