Fox fest indeed in japan, in the upcoming months both bands have been booked for several festivals in europe as well (like both performing at the same festival) so i hope they will do the song together.

Watching the debut together with Tauri and other people who were there, and there was a good number of fans of the bands and contributors to the community that Tauri built on Discord, I could already feel the atmosphere that the bands were experiencing! And looking at the comments, it caught my attention as a 76-year-old person who lived in the USA for a long time and understands how much Tauri misses her family! And he also commented that anyone who watches this video and doesn't smile needs to go to the doctor!Man! How sweet of this person! That's beautiful! This is the true essence of the Channel! This vibe of Babymetal singers is closer to what they did in Sakura Gakuin, which was the idol group of which all three of them were members. At least, it is for me with this type of acting.

I saw this live at FOX_FEST last weekend in Tokyo with Babymetal and Nico and Kevin on stage together and it absolutely went off. The crowd went completely nuts for it. Such a fun song, and all of them looked like they were having a great time performing together.
There were actually several fans at the show who had mirrorball helmets on, which was a pretty good effort considering the video only released two days before the show.
Did you notice that during the breakdown where Kevin goes "Are you ready?" he is answered by another "Are you ready?" but it's not him doing the growl the second time? It's Momometal.

Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival next weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version.
The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference.
The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one.
The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements.
Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version.
Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One.
There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more.
