I’ve got a Tri color Blue Merle Border Collie and I could wear myself out telling you how annoyed I am that not a single person says cute Border Collie. It’s always aww look at that Aussie.
My first dog was an Aussie, my experience was wonderful. The Aussie is energetic and intelligent, but with early crate training and a good amount of daily exercise and trick training, they are calm and easy in the house. I recommend an Aussie and hope to get another one very soon as my second dog! Great video, thank you!!
Awwww! Do you mind pointing out some of the differences you’ve noticed? My Aussie passed away last year and I’m looking into another doggie now. They’re the best!! 🐾
I'm a cattle rancher and can't decide which breed I want to integrate into our lives. We live in canyons and trees and I need a dog I can teach to go out, down, into the trees and bring the cattle back to me. Would you have any advice between the 2 breeds?
Acd are way better for cattle. Border collies don’t like getting close to the cattle or sheep and you need that especially for stubborn cattle. ACDs are built tougher and Border Collies are built more gracefully
Two wonderful canine breeds ! One point worth mentioning is the zany sense of humour typical of the Aussie. (There were two Aussies in our family, who lived to the ages of 13 and 14.)
Working Aussies from the US have a totally different temperament than pet or show lines! They're a lot less social and more aggressive/reserved. But BC energy levels in the US are nearly on par with the malinois!! They won hands down in intelligence! Also BCs get separation anxiety bc they want to be with you so much. Aussies def need more coat maintenance. & Border collies def are healthier.. Many have lived into their 20s!! The second longest lived dog ever was a 100% vegan border collie who lived to 25! 😱😱💚

15 years isn't long enough time with them. Lost my girl to complications due to renal failure. Best dog I have ever owned and even harder to lose.

I have both..although similar , the BC is on another level intelligence wise...Both herders, but hers differently....love them both, great dogs
