- Today we have another exciting herding video with some super intelligent Scottish sheepdogs storm and echo
As some lambs have to be moved from their field to a new fresh pasture, sheep farming and herding dogs
To make things more difficult the lambs are extra stubborn and sticky in this video making the border collies work a bit harder to get them moving

I love their eager faces as they sit beside you on the four wheeler waiting to get to the sheep. Absolutely adorable.
Amazing beautifuworking dogs!!! God bless them!!!
Me too, it's so much fun just watching them wait for the "away" or "come by" commands, then they just take off. Nothing quite like Border Collies, they're amazing pups.
My brother has an at least part sheep dog. She is the smartest dog I've met.
These fantastic dogs are poetry in motion!
Thank you
amazing dogs! One can tell they enjoy their job!
I second that…
@@seanthesheepman5845 hjasjhgasgsajhgjhas??
Great life, one man and his best friends.
For me, the best part of this video was when the dogs were riding out to the fields. You can tell they were absolutely freaking out with excitement because they knew they were about to get to herd. I love watching dogs do the work that is deep within their DNA.
Those of us city folk who have never seen these dogs work are fascinated by how they can work these sheep with just whistles and a few simple commands from Sean. These dogs have inborn instincts that clearly take over and BAM ! WOW!
There is no comparison to the joy I see in their eyes. Thank you for giving them the life they deserve
Lol, like it's not about making a living farming or anything, it's just about entertaining the pups :)
@@zed5129this breed deserves to work as opposed to being someone’s pet.
@@kristinrichmond8185 Yeah all work dog breeds need jobs to stay happy. Pisses me off when people get huskies or malamutes and then theyre forced to lounge around inside most of the day. Yeah no wonder your couches get chewed up
@@zed5129Dude, herding Sheeps is in the very DNA of Boarder Collies, so they're basically allowed to do here what they were born for. Thats a luxury only very few Dogs have
And the dogs seem happy, too
Storm and Echo work so well as a team. You’ve done a great job with them, Sean. 😄 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
The happiest dogs working the fields… moving the lambs.
Thank you Sean for sharing your day with all of us.
☺️I LOVE watching you
🙏🏼& the dogs work✨
Thank you for watching
These dogs are a dream to watch. Thank you. 🐾🐾
Thanks
Nice work echo and storm.
Glad you enjoyed it
Those are some very happy dogs🥰😀
Glad to see Storm again! She's my favorite because I like her energy, confidence and the intensity in her eyes. This is an amazing mom and son combo! You did so well too, Echo.
Also, would be fascinating to hear more about the 'tactics' they use when working together like this - how much of it is training vs how much is you letting them figure it out between them at times, or if you use commands also to "suggest" to them the right approach but then let them figure out the details - basically I guess I'm asking for a technical deep dive lecture on sheepherding 😂 as it is amazing to watch you work with them ❤
Thank you will definitely note that down in my video idea book
Yayyy - thank you for the reply, really looking forward to that ☺️☺️
I love watching the dogs watch Sean. They are ready for work and are just waiting for the command to go.
Great teamwork!!
I know farming of any kind is very hard work, but it’s beautiful as well. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
The amount of energy these magnificent dogs have is insane! 😊🙏🏼❤️🐕🦺
I love watching Borders in action. Especially their low stalking. You've done a beautiful job of training them!
Storm & Echo were so eager to get to work. You've trained them so well. They want to please you sooo much.❤❤❤
You are so kind
I love the expressions of anticipation on the dogs' faces as you are driving them toward the sheep!! They can't wait to get out there. So cute!
Thank you
Absolutely love your videos and just watching the dogs work, so calming. Would be interesting to see a video like this where you explain the "logic" of what you're seeing, how your choosing commands etc - a little 'play by play' commentary on what is going on in your head and their furry brains
Thanks, definitely look at that
Yes please
I would love that too.
My 4 Aussie-border Collies really perk up to your videos while I'm watching them. Even without proper training they have responded to my limited experience with a Shepherd whistle since they were quite small. Just love watching your amazing dogs! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Sean Storm and Echo. My morning is now complete!! Great team work with the best team ❤
Oh Sean...you and your dogs make me want to raise sheep again 😮
"Away!" he says and away they go... Beautiful. I envy your whistling skills, seriously.
I have a secret, it’s a whistle
Check out “Logan Whistles” there are other brands too, but these are pretty high quality & several models materials to choose from.
laghima .. Away is to the right and come bye is to the left.
It's obvious Storm and Echo love their jobs. What incredible athletes! What an amazing video!! They love you too.
Watching Storm and Echo herding the sheep is pure poetry. Echo is definitely improving
I am in absolute awe watching these incredible dogs “do their thing”…..many thanks for sharing..❤️❤️❤️
I saw one sheep with an injured leg, in the three at the rear, just where you walked over to help the dogs.
Hope the sheep will be OK.
Love watching the dogs work and your communicating with them.
❤️🐕🇦🇺 Brisbane, Australia
It’s scad very common on sheep in Scotland it is much like having a little sore between your toes easy to fix as well
Saw that too and I'm relieved to hear it's nothing much.

Your Collies are pure joy to watch. Their attention and perseverance on those long runs is awesome… not to mention their hearing ability at those distances.Well done mate in having such spectacular dogs.
Wow, they really work as a team, fantastic job.
The 'sticky' lambs were in total ignore mode for the dogs, but got going when the human looked annoyed! (Sean, you never look annoyed, that was dramatic licence!!)
If dogs could talk, they'd tell Kate all about it when they got back - which would drive her mad!
Haha yes
Incredible team work!!
These dogs put their all into the job!!
What is the average age that you "retire" a working dog like them??
Hi Sean, I’ve been wondering, why the seemingly heavy collar on Storm? Storm seems to be able to work on her own, while Echo likes to check in with you, those are excellent dogs!
@@user-mn5xz4pu6oi don't think they feel like it's work. They look more like they are doing what they love most.
@@user-mn5xz4pu6o Great question! I, too, would like to know the dogs’ ages and when you retire them.
I don’t care how many times I’ve seen these dogs do this, it never gets old and never ceases to amaze and admire the way they work together. Here in Oregon I’m surrounded by farm land and pastures that used to have competitions every summer. Few things compare…
What a great job they did!
I think I am classified as a "sticky" human. I like staying home. 😊
So proud to see the three of you as one great team. Been watching them grow better and better. Made me have chills all over, watching how great they work together. wish you lived in the States I'd love to have you work my dogs. Great job Sean.
Thank you so much!
I really enjoy watching your dogs in their daily work. It shows the tricky situations they have to figure out, like "sticky" lambs and your explanations help us understand the daily tasks and challenges. Thanks for sharing, Sean. All the best to you and yours.
You are so kind
So glad I found you channel, and I love your dogs.
Born professionals, super proud of their hobby not job but hobby❤❤❤.
Excelente trabajo!!
Bravo Echo & Storm!!🐾❤
I love watching them! They absolutely LOVE what they do. And they actually look like they’re smiling😊 🐑
Absolutely amazing to watch these dogs work!!! Michigan USA
I imagine this is old hat, everyday, mundane work for you Sean, but I wish you knew the absolute joy it brings to some of us to see these amazing animals doing what they love, and the bond between you and them. Watching your videos, Miss Maggie my border collie mix watches intently, ears perked and head cocked side to side. She loves to herd the chickens. They aren't thrilled. My other dogs? They look at me as if to say "why are they running around, when there's a perfectly fine 4x4 right there to ride on?" LOL Thanx, again! Give good boy Monty an ear scratch for me!
Thank you glad you like the video
They're a beautiful sight, two little highly intelligent athletes. Its refreshing to notice the sheep are aware but not especially panicked, wonderful training. Thank you for posting.
So very glad you all seem to be doing well.
Give the pups a hug for me ☺️ 🐾🐾
Love the term "sticky". Good description! Awesome job, Storm & Echo!!
Yes! Thank you!
Like a timeless symphony! The pups are gorgeous, hard working and full of spirit. Love them.
These pups are so amazing. They are working hard, but they are also loving every bit of it. They looooove making you happy, Sean. Doing a great job is what these sweethearts know best!! As smart as they are, they need their human to be in charge at all times. You've trained them well and both you and Stacey provide the love and care for them that help them thrive❤😊 God Bless you all🙏 Also, so many thanks for sharing these moments with all of us all around the world!!😊
I love these dogs. Storm’s intensity when she’s getting ready to work is amazing.
Smart, hardworking and beautiful!! And that's just the dogs!!!! You are all ADORABLE ❤❤❤❤
Can't get over how fast and how much ground that Echo & Storm cover and they are so extremely intelligent. Excellent video.

I love the way you interact with your dogs, learning so much from your videos, thanks😊
Thanks for taking the time to film and upload these, Sean! I really enjoy them. Hope you have a great week ahead.
Glad you like them!
It is pure joy to watch these dogs "do their thing." Also pure joy is the setting. Looks like paradise to me: delightfully wet and clean [I'm writing from the Mojave Desert]. You are a lucky man.
Storm does everything with such gusto! She works hard, plays hard, loves hard! Such heart!
I love your videos, I will never get tired of watching your beautiful, clever dogs! Thank you for letting us watch them in action, they are absolutely awesome.
I will never get tired of watching that! The dogs are amazing! And so precious too! 😊🐑🐕🦺
Watching the ordinary tasks of other people outside in the fresh air is incredibly interesting for those of us who don't do that work. Thanks for sharing! The sheep looked really fat, and happy in their new pasture. And the dogs were clearly satisfied and happy with all the stimulation. Endorphins for all!
What an amazing thing to watch.
The communication between you and the dogs plus their drive is just wonderful!!!
Love watching Storm and Echo in action!
These majestic creatures were built & designed for this & you can see the joy in their actions as they live out and demonstrate their skills! Great job Echo & Storm! Also, cute that you have a single black sheep in your herd! 😂🤣
Warms my heart to see dogs bred, willing, and able to do those things God intended them to do. They are clearly happy, balanced, and a joy to see in action.
God intended them that way yet they were bred? Interesting
@@hyeboi God works through people, too. :-)

Amazing photography! Those dogs really love their work. Makes me smile when they look back towards you, Sean, for affirmation or the next command.
Watching the connection between you and the dogs is marvelous.
For some reason I always hear the noise the X wings make in Star Wars as the beautiful border collies run to do their task lol - their love of their work, their intelligence and obedience and recall (they stop *immediately* when told to stop or change by their master), and their ability to work together is just beautiful.
I can't watch enough of your videos!! The dogs are so incredibly SMART!
So eager to get to work!! ❤ The looks of anticipation on their faces!! ❤❤
Beautiful working dogs, as a kelpie owner and a half kelpie and collie l now what marvellous dogs they are 😊 Keep up the good work . Kind Regards from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks for a Sunday treat!❤
What beautiful country. As always I so enjoy watching Echo and Storm.
WOW,😳have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you're telling them, but as long as they know that's what counts!!! Love watching them do this!!! WOW CONGRATULATIONS
Love your beautiful dogs. They love working and running so you are making them as happy as they make you happy. ❤❤❤
Echo looking back at you...he will learn from Storm's confidence. Love seeing y'all work together.
You got that right!
When Kate pics her paw up , kills me.
Love watching these dogs work. They are so smart. ❤
Beautiful dogs and awesome video as alwsys.
Thanks
Well trained AND well managed dogs.
Well done Sean.
My son in Alaska had a sibling pair of border collies until they died of old age. One time when my granddaughter was a toddler, a vicious pit bull escaped from an adjoining apartment and attacked her. Instinctively working as a team, they saved that baby's life. The smaller female provided distraction from the rear, while her brother took the pit head on. The male incurred grievous injuries, but lived. The collies were willing to die for my granddaughter that day. I will never forget Einstein and Kaiya.
Thanks to you and the pups!!
Lovely smart bordercollisar, love to them
Thank you
Love how well they work together!
Just a privilege to have this little view into your life, and the talents of your beautiful dogs. 🐵🐺🐑
They are just so brilliant to watch. Boarder and Aussie's have a wonderful work drive. You're boarder collies are so well trained. There's nothing better or could do the job. Great video.
Takes my breath away!!!
I want to cry!
Nice how they work the sheep from a distance so that the sheep are still CALM . Painless , stress less herding ❤
I love watching sheepdogs working. I just hope you love them and treat them kindly. When, as a child, we went to the local sheepdog trials (in Dorset, many years ago) I often saw shepherds being very harsh with their dogs. This has always upset me. Dogs deserve so much love.
ive got a border, i love when they look at you after you tell them to lie down like "what now dad" beautiful and obedient breed
I love watching your dogs work, Sean. Thanks for another exciting episode.
Glad you like them!
They’re beautiful creatures and so dang smart! And I love the way you and Stacy love them!
They are amazing, they respect you and you respect them, perfect combo between human and dog ❤❤
Storm is the leader, she's out of breath and Echo is taking her lead.Yes great girl!
Another great video showing us the tremendous work your dogs do in their normal day. Wow, they are super good workers. We really enjoy all your videos. Thank you, your wife and all the dogs!
I do love watching such brilliant dogs/&shepherd working together!! Beautiful!! ❤
Watching border collies work sheep never gets old for me. And I got to see it a lot in my previous life. Honestly, the brilliance and intensity of the dogs is so exciting, it never fails to astonish me. 🥰
Love it when Sean says “awee. What a lot of training and practice with these dogs to get them to get the job done.
They are amazing!! The 3 of you make one well oiled herding machine! Their minds are incredible and you have trained them so well! You 3 are a joy to watch!! Brilliant!!!❤️❤️❤️
Could watch the dogs work all day. Fascinating!
Love your channel.Your dogs are so eager to work; they look so happy! I always wave to Kate "the great" at the beginning! The best to you and Stacey x
Beauty and elegance in motion with superb intelligence. They're so beautiful and great dogs as long as people remember they must have a job.
You can tell those dogs looove their job. I’m jealous.
Just brilliant Sean so impressive all that training is so worthwhile- what a team love it 👏🙏🥰
Love watching these two puppies work! Poetry in motion! 💖🥰
Their training is beautiful to watch. Outstanding Sir.
I absolutely love watching you and your dogs work! we use to have a dog that was part boarder collie who used to “herd” us all the time 😂
