I just bought the same belt with 3 different colors of belt and the buckle has the larger nike symbol. Hopefully it works well while I'm at my job!

Don’t cut the belt. Just I’ve the buckle. Just tuck the unneeded length under behind the belt as you wear it. Won’t be seen. To lengthen or shorten the belt, just adjust the buckle up or down the belt length.
