back in the day, people didn’t believe the flood will happen until they started drowning. in the future day, people wont believe in hell until they start burning. dont wait for God’s judgement for today is the day of salvation. get in the ark which is Christ.

@@stan467 Bible in Revelation 20:10: And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Jesus taught in Matthew chapter 25 all those who served Him not that they would go to everlasting punishment from when after He comes again to judge all: 31"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." End of this teaching in Matthew 25:46 tells us: "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Matthew 25:40-46 Jesus explains everlasting punishment is lake of fire: verse 40: "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

But thank God for having mercy on us and allowing us to repent. Praise the lord and thank the lord for the gift of righteousness and mercy he sets upon us.

When I visited the Ark Museum, I looked at how big the Ark was. I said to my group that if I seen someone building something that massive, I would have joined in to help. For surely he knew a flood was coming.
It was very touching to my spirit to see the size of the Ark. How can one say there is no God? For only a God can instruct such a massive boat to float in a storm.

God sealed the door of the Ark to keep Noah and his family from opening it. When the rains started, I can only imagine how many must have ran to the Ark and started pounding on the door to let them in. The people outside were probably terrified and Noah may very well have let them in but God knew better. If he would have let some of the people in, they may have followed God for a while but later reverted back to what they were or even worse than before. Just a though.

Salvation comes only by the gift of repentance and faith, by God's grace. God would not save unrepentant sinners then, and He will not save them today. " Flee from the wrath to come " is still the message today to all atheists, and false religions including Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and so many others that seek to be saved through man's merits and man's fleshly endeavors.

At minute 2:30 our host makes a very important point: Noah built the ark over the course of 70 years and he didn't do it alone and testified to all who would come and question what he was doing. Why would they question him building a structure of wood? At that time man was building in stone, megalithic structures that are still unrivaled by mankind. There was no rain before the great flood. People mocked him, ridiculing his labor.

The whole of it is wrong, including Darwinist theory and Big Bang Cosmology. What’s more likely; atoms randomly crashing together to create the universe we see, or a Creator? There was little or no rain in the antediluvian world. All the water came from springs that were plentiful. Our Sun was probably the brown dwarf Saturn and the earth was part of its heliosphere. Hence the atmosphere was thicker, the light from our sun much dimmer and cosmic rays almost non-existent that would allow earth’s inhabitants to live much longer than presently. You might find interesting “The Star ‘Proto-Saturn” or “The Saturn/Earth Connection and Our Place in the Universe” by the electric universe people right here on TH-cam. Does a believer first believe then repent or vice versa? The thief on the cross didn't say a prayer, didn't confess his sins, didn't get baptized, didn't respond to an altar call. I believe God used the story of the thief to make his biggest pitch against organized religion. There are countless new testament verses only on "believing in the gospel", "believing in Jesus", I was raised in a religious home and I've been saved since 1985. I'm extremely anti relgious and stress to everyone I share the gospel with that God desires a relationship, not a religious experience! I sense the rapture is imminent and we're living in the last hours of the last days of the endtimes. I truly believe if one truly believes in Jesus, repentance and devotion are a byproduct of faith when one obeys the WORD. God bless everyone.

And don't say that verse refers to the 2nd coming...it doesn't because at the 2nd coming who are the untold numbers who are behind Jesus on white horses? We can't be at two places at once. Impossible. Too many scriptures point to an instant protection salvation when God's wrath will be poured out. Why else would Jesus talk about living in the days of Noah and Lot? Was it not God in the form of man preserving those who love Him? Why would God preserve man only to punish him again? God preserved his lineage of Israel so He can enjoy the worship and recognition that came from His creation that will ultimately be punished again for its sin. Sinful man enacted cruelties upon animal kind. The righteous man held that Creation in reverence. I believe it was Solomon whom said, " a righteous man is kind to the needs of this animals but the kindest act of the wicked is cruel". In the book of Jubilee ,written by Noah, edifies this philosophical Outlook when Noah testifies that the animals no longer spoke to mankind.

God washed away sin by the cleansing waters of the flood. Just as our sins are washed away in baptism. There is so much in the scriptures that tell of deeper meanings.
I had the opportunity to hear a message about the Seder, according to Jewish tradition. During the meal, the unleavened bread was broken. Half was wrapped in a cloth and hidden in a niche in the wall. The other half was eaten with the meal. Three days later, the hidden half was brought out and eaten. Jesus's body was broken, wrapped in a cloth, and "hidden" in a tomb. 3 days later He arose. This isn’t explained in the Bible. But, it is part of the Jewish tradition, just as the blood on the doors of the Hebrew slaves told the Death Angel to pass by.

Well Genesis says it happened so it happened, it’s not merely a metaphor. Also yes we are saved by grace not works but we are judged by our works because faith without works is dead and I believe the works are the learning and adopting God’s Law called Torah not merely the Ten Commandments. I know it’s a daunting task but if it was easy would we have needed Grace in the first place?

There is more to it than calling out in the name of the Lord for salvation. Yes, that's part of it, but it requires action on your behalf. That action is a true repentance of the person as in Luke 13:3, and Acts 17:30 . Baptism is essential for salvation, and that's found in many new testament scriptures, such as Acts 2:38, Mark 16:15,16, Acts 22:16, 1st Peter 3:20,21 - this passage in 1st Peter is very important. 1st Peter 3:21 "and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. " I hope this helps someone to see what you must do to be saved.

Biblical meaning of the Hebrew and Greek differs from our English understanding. No one is perfect except Christ Jesus, in as how we understand what perfect means. Most Biblical content and Hebrew/Greek meaning of perfect is to be complete or as with Noah he whole-heartedly was perfect/pure in his heart's desire to follow after God in faith, as in this verse telling us of his walking with God. He still needed to rcv righteousness over his sin nature by what Old and New Testaments tell us by his faith God gave him His grace and was how Noah, also, as each of us must also have righteousness given as a not earned gift from our Saviour Lord God. Please re-listen to all the Bible verses explaining this that are given in this true account of Noah. It is NOT by our dna or our physical cells which opens heavens door to eternal life... no where does The Bible teach this.

These are clearly people who were exercising saving faith. Thus what James is discussing is a faith that is alone, meaning without works. He calls faith without works "Dead", indicating that it was faith that was once alive (2:17, 26).
For James, works is a natural result of faith. When a person truly believes in something, he or she will act on that belief. With this letter, James was sounding a Wake-up call to all Christians:
"Get your LIFE in line with what you BELIEVE!"
(Faith and Works): The reformer Martin Luther, champion of the doctrine of salvation though faith alone, never felt good about the epistle of James. He called it an "epistle full of straw" in the preface to his 1522 editions of the New Testament, and he put the book in the appendix.
He preferred Paul's wording of the faith-works equation: "A man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law (Rom. 3:28).
In a sense, Luther had little choice. He was surrounded by men who said that good works could save you. He knew that God alone could save though faith alone, and his mission was to tell them.
But Luther went too far when he put James in the appendix to the New Testament. Neither faith nor works can be cut off and thrown away. James was taking aim at (Freeloaders), those who claimed to have no need for good deeds since they had faith. The reality is that if you have faith, works will naturally be a product. You cannot get rid of works just because they do not save you. You cannot sever the effect from the cause. Just as an apple tree will bear apples, so faith will produce good works (See Luke 6:43-44).
Paul had the opposite problem in view when he wrote Romans. His letter targeted those who placed their faith in the Law of Moses. Their trust was in their own good works, and not in God. That is why Paul wrote a defense of faith, and that is why Luther preferred it to James's defense of works.
Faith and works are not enemies. True faith and righteous works go hand in hand. They are two parts of God's work in us. Faith brings a person to salvation, and works bring that person to faithfulness. Faith is the cause, works are the effect. James believed it, and so did Paul.
(James 2:17): Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (This doesn't mean you lose your salvation it just states you faith is Useless/Pointless if it does not produce good works).
(James 2:24) YOU SEE THEN THAT A MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY WORKS AND NOT BY FAITH ONLY.
(Ephesians 2:10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for (Good Works), which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
(Jesus): I am the true vine, and my father is the vinedresser. Every branch In Me that does not bear fruit (he takes away); and every branch that bears fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (John 15:1).
(Jesus): As the father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept my father's commandments and abide in His love. (John 15:9-10).
(Jesus): If anyone does not abide in me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and (they gather them and throw them into the fire and they are burned). (John 15:6).
(Jesus): Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
(Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire). Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:15-20).
(1 Timothy 4:8): For bodily exercise profits a little, but Godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.
(Profits a little contrast the shirt-term value of physical exercise with the long-term benefits of Godliness for all things. Discipline in Godliness affects both the present and future life of the believer. The present aspect includes obedience and a life of purpose.
(So this simply states. “Do not live in a life of Sin. Live in Godliness”).
(1 Corinthians 3:9-10) Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each out may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
(Wanting to be with Christ produces the ambition to please him (see Luke 19:17). We strive to please the lord not only because we know we will be with Him but, also because he will evaluate our (work)---Whether good or bad--- and reward us accordingly). (The person unconcerned about doing, (Good Deeds), shows a grave lack of vision).
(James 2:10) For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For he who said; do not commit adultery, also said do not murder. Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
(He is guilty of all: God does not allow selective obedience. We cannot choose to obey the parts of the law that are to our own liking and disregard the rest. Some of the Pharisees were guilty of this. They carefully observed some of the requirements of the law, such as keeping the Sabbath, and ignored others, such as honoring their parents. (Sin is violation of the perfect righteousness of God), who is the lawgiver. James is saying that God's will for his people. (The violation of even one commandment separates an individual from God and his purposes).
(James 2:5) Listen, my beloved brethren; Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and hairs of the kingdom which he promised to those who love Him?
(God has chosen to use poor people who are rich in faith to advance his kingdom. Those who LOVE HIM and OBEY HIM
(See John 14:15 & 14:21; 15:9-17) and endure the TESTING of their FAITH (1:12) will inherit the Kingdom).
When I say to the wicked, you shall surly die, and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked for his wicked way, to save his life that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning. He shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.
    (Ezekiel 3:18-21)

8:00 And you “trust” in Christ , not by reading about, thinking about, saying you do, talking about, studying, but by “Doing “
Noah built an ark. Physical, literal lifetime of obedient work according to the spirit of God. We are to do exactly the same thing in our life “Sanctification “. Do not decieve yourself. Love is Faith at Work, that people can see. You can’t take the credit but that’s still the way. The HARD road! Is your Christian life HARD? The whole world is against literally following Christs uncompromising standards, is the whole world against you? Is anyone against you?? Think hard about what you trust. Be very wary of the smooth, easy teachings of Jesus did it so you don’t have to. Is that what He said? Is that what Jesus Christ said?? Wake up? REPENTANCE is continuing forever until you die it is not a one time deal. You know it’s true your conscience bears witness, there is no get out of jail free, you must accept Jesus Christ as Lord, do what he says no matter the consequences for the rest of your days or you are living a delusion. ask me how I know, God still waits for you.

Grains and Herbs: Noah could have grown some herbs, vegetables, and grains before the Flood and dried them for storage.
Fish and Protein: For carnivores, fish eggs, live eels, or fish stored in barrels could have provided protein.
Self-Feeders and Water Systems: Noah probably stored food and water near each animal. Self-feeders and piped drinking water would have made feeding easier.
Manure Management: To keep enclosures clean, Noah could have used slatted floors or multiple-level cages.
Ventilation: Basic ventilation would have provided fresh air and dissipated body heat. we know that the top of the ark was removeable that would provide ventilation and methane weighs less than air so it would rise out. he could have used an Archimedes screw to remove waste it was attributed to Archimedes, but they believe it was used in the gardens of ancient Babylon as well.

An important passage that was left out of this video, which shows the point at which Jesus removes our sin by His blood is in 1 Peter 3:20-21. “who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water. Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you - not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience - through dthe resurrection of Jesus Christ.” Peter wrote this and taught the same the very first time salvation was taught after the cross. See Acts 2:36-38. Many preachers deny Peter’s words. Who will you believe? Today’s preachers or Peter, an apostle of the Lord?

Commandment-obedient Christian & archeologist, Ron Wyatt confirmed the ark's location in Turkey, "upon the mountains of Ararat" (Gen.8:4). Its length matching Scripture's 515 foot length; the shape of the hull matching perfectly to a WWII battleship, perfect for the turbulent waters of the great deluge, proving that all these modern renderings are utterly defiant to accepted naval design. This alone disproves their claims against the location Ron verified in Turkey. Guided by angels, the ark's resting place was the perfect location for the animals to disembark. The anchor stones near the resting place of the ark are of a type of granite found only in Michigan.
Ron Wyatt's work has been proven true in each of his exploits: from the Red Sea crossing where that location is the only shallow spot allowing for the Hebrews to cross. Then there is Mount Sinai with its fire charred summit; the split rock where it is seen where water flowed to quench the thirst of the Hebrews; the remains of Sodom & Gomorrah whose terrain, found nowhere else in the world, could only be created by heat equivalent to a nuke!.
But most importantly, Ron found the room where the ark of the covenant is located with "the ten commandments." It is beneath the spot on Golgotha where Christ was crucified. The Law that Christ said will judge every man (Matt.19:17) waits for the LORD'S time to bring the "two tables of stone" forth when church apostasy under the banner of Rome takes the helm of this 'ship of fools.' When Rev.13:13 is fulfilled, the sins of Rome become legislated into federal law! Make no mistake! Sin is "the mark of the beast!"
But the last and most amazing discovery of Ron Wyatt is that the earthquake on the day Christ died allowed His blood & water that flowed from His side to seep through the cracked rock and drip onto the mercy seat of the ark. (Ron was able to take a sample of the blood.) This is what GOD accomplished by His wisdom and not man's.
If Christ lived under today's dogma of Christendom, He would have failed in His mission to save the souls of men. The church has sinned for over 1700 years. And repentance today is as shallow as a puddle.

You can argue that God knew how many would be saved and sized the vessel accordingly -- but from a messaging perspective, the size of the Ark would have strongly communicated to those listening that very few would be on it.

I surmise that Methuselah as well as a few other people had specific rooms set aside just for them.
Noah was the son and grandson of preachers and he carried on with the family line of preaching. God said that the people had 120 years to repent before he would destroy mankind with a flood.
Methuselah was the son of Enoch, the father of Lamech, and the grandfather of Noah.

@~10:10 When Protestants rise the subject of "The 10 Commandments," they always sort of incriminate people with the 6th, 7th, 8th all the way to 10th. Then they jump to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd... but for some reason never touch the 4th Commandment, WHY? In view of that, when referring to the 10 Commandments of Exodus 20:2-17, they should say the "9 Commandments" because, as far as I know, I think they don't keep it Holy as it is commanded, they don't teach people to keep it as it was/is ordained in... Genesis... when there was not a single distinguished Jew person just yet. Think about it.

Baked into the 10 commandments, -5 commandments deal with loving God, 5 deal with loving your neighbor. Still only 2 concepts as Christ told the Pharisees in Matthew 22 when they ask him what was the greatest commandment. Christ replied with 2, loving God and your neighbor just as laid out in the 10 commandments.

2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
    Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Let us not be fooled! We do not want to be one of those who will be turned away on that day when men stand before God. The way is narrow, and the road is straight, and FEW be that find it.
Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Verse 22 MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Verse 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.

Our sin has set us all on the road to hell and no amount of good will fix the sin we have done. We have ALL sinned. It is not about the type of sin or how much sin. It is about the fact that we have all sinned. For that reason we all need a Savior.

If we want forgiveness for our sin and peace with God. If we want to escape eternal hell. If we want to go to heaven we must understand the following. We DO NOT get saved (go to heaven), get right with God, forgiven, by being good, by being religious, by just believing in God, by praying a prayer, being baptized, asking or accepting Jesus into our hearts, accepting Jesus as our personal Saviour, confessing our sins, joining a church, cleaning up our lives, doing penance, taking the bread and the wine, or doing all these things accumulative.

Salvation takes repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 20:21. testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Make no mistake. We cannot be a friend of Christ and remain a rebel against God. The word repent, from the Greek word “metanoia”, means a change of mind or direction.
God is not receiving those who almost or kind of repents. It is like the word About-face which is a 180 degree turn. We turn from not wanting God fully in our lives to willfully surrendering to Him to lead our lives.

When any person comes to the place where they are broken over their sin toward God to the point that they want to get right with God no matter what it will cost them they are in a state/spirit of repentance toward God. Luke 14:33 Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
We then take that heart we have towards God and place it on the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Master and that becomes faith. At that moment God’s grace through Christ is freely applied to us and we are born again, saved from eternal hell and sealed by the Spirit so that we will never again return to the practice of sinning. Eph. 2:8,9, 1John 3:9,10.

Our first command after salvation is to be baptized.
Repentance of sin is the result of the new birth/salvation and will be part of the sanctification process and our new life with the Lord Jesus Christ, Eph 2:10. While we may sin from time to time after salvation it will never again be our practice 2Cor. 5:17, 1John 3:9,10.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

REV. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

@@4KindnessGal I've glanced through the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, and Jesus was a nasty little tyke. Withering and murdering people, adults and children alike. They all come back to life at the end, but you're left wondering whether that bit is actually true. I know it's not canonical, and that there are other writings about his 'wild years' in India and also Spain. Jesus was well travelled if we can believe these legends, but unfortunately you've left me with another problem: righteous(ness). What does that actually mean? Does it mean religious and religiosity? Every time I've heard righteous(ness), I've substituted those words and it seems to work.
