      Give your mom a chance and keep being hopeful. Even if something else may occur and you think she is not listening. Let her know just that, I have a son that's gay and I understand how your mom feels. BUT at the end of it all , that's my son and I love him unconditionally. And it took me a little while to accept that he was gay. Only because I was also taught that it's wrong. But then I thought about the fact of whom am I to judge . And how hateful some people are to gays. Which in turn they do not think about, because they themselves will be judged .

      No prayers for that disturbed entity boy, and you can judge people, it's written in your bible of contradictions, but it's how you judge and what for. Open your blind eyes, that's why you got a judge in the court system.

    As a gay 69-year-old black man I too went through the same with my family. I never felt the love from my deceased Dad, my mom always tells me she loves me when we talk, but not from my older or younger siblings. It was so bad, that I moved 250 miles away, 40 years ago. It is tough getting older without the love of your family. Jimmy, you are a great inspiration to all gay black males with the same feelings all over the world. A great video, Thanks.

    I am a mother of a gay daughter, and I was raised to believe it was a sin. However, the moment my daughter told me the belief went out the window because my love for my daughter is unconditional. I don't see her as a gay woman. I see her only as my daughter. True love allows you to see past anything when it comes to your kids.

    He speaks very well and he expresses his feelings well too, mom stop being scared and stop thinking so hard about it and let him be himself. I know it’s hard. @knightbridges8369 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      You may feel hurt by your child’s decision to “come out.” But remember, this is not something they have done “to” you. Their homosexuality is not something they conjured up to purposely embarrass or punish you. It’s most likely been a painful secret they’ve kept hidden for years precisely because they feared you would be hurt. This is your child’s struggle, your child’s wound. As a loving parent - and a Christian - you must be mature and courageous. Now is the time to show your child the same grace and unconditional love that Jesus shows to all of us who struggle with sin in our lives. Pray for wisdom, understanding and the right words to say in this difficult and delicate situation.

      So if white racist parents teach there children to hate black people, and teach them black peoples are untrustworthy people, and they’re always wrong. When that child becomes an adult, it’s okay for them to continue the same cycle because that’s what they were taught? That’s not a valid reason to excuse her behavior. It's amazing how people are unwilling to show the same grace to their own creations/kids that has been shown to them at some point in life. And what's crazy is that as far as we know, this young man graduated from high school, went to college, stays out of trouble, and is not being a menace/danger to society. He’s a beautiful young man. Sometimes I think it’s hard for parents who were not brought up around things that are “normalized” now such as being openly gay and such. I don’t believe all parents are trying to be homophobic, it’s just something they aren’t used to and that should be accepted as well. I believe no one should be forced to accept someone and that doesn’t automatically make them homophobic or disgusting, it’s just their personal outlook. I think this topic should be brought up more because people often think just because someone doesn’t accept or easily understand someone that is gay that they are homophobic which isn’t true. You have to understand the other person as well, and it’s 100% okay if they can’t easily welcome you. But what they SHOULD give is respect always. That’s how I feel.

    As a Christian woman and a mother i can feel you mom. It is the hardest thing seeing your child go astray from God. He is your baby and you love that boy no matter what he thinks or everybody thinks . Only God can understand what you are going through as a mother and i pray that the Holy Spirit intervenes . May peace of Christ be with you and your son.

I know my mom loves me but I’m not going to force that part of my life on her the same way I don’t want her to force her views on me. To have a phobia means you have a deep fear or hate towards something so learn your vocabulary before trying to label people a certain way. The mother obviously wants a relationship with her son and she took the time out of her day to go on Karamos show to repair the pain she has caused. No body is perfect and people make mistakes. Karamo executed this segment perfectly. Props ❤

So yes it can be homophobic the way she is acting she is resenting him because of his sexuality. Hence it being called homophobia. Just wanted to clear that up.

      She said she wants a relationship with her son. If she wants one, that's what she's gonna have to do. If she said "No I want nothing to do with him" he'd have said okay have her leave the stage and talk to him about healing/getting therapy and how to move on without her.
      So he's not trying to force her, he's telling her the steps she needs to take IF she doesn't want to lose her son. If she's fine with out her son in her life, then absolutely correct, she doesn't have to accept him.

He’s handsome, he’s clearly struggling with the loss of his grandmother. He should pursue modeling, or speaking about his life to help others. Or even social work if he’s able to go back. This guy is so right, it’s not a choice, I’m gay and I knew when I was 5. I wish I was straight, but what would a child know about sexuality when he’s 5. Who would choose to live a miserable life, and looked down on, and discriminated in public, directly or indirectly. I never came out to my family and never will. Cause nothing will change, telling people that I’m gay, it won’t make me straight, or pay mine or others bills, it will only waste my time, and others trying to explain to them about me, on the contrary people will talk about me, and I’ll be the source of entertainment, which I don’t want to happen, they can have other sources of entertainment on social media…

      It’s definitely a choice bruh ! You went against what you said you said at 5 you were gay but then followed up saying what does a child know about sexuality in which you didn’t. Something happened to you simple as that it’s a choose to be gay 💯

    • @VansSpartacus
      @VansSpartacus ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not a choice. Why would one choose knowing that they will be hated by others, it’s androgen(the male hormones) which are less, and there’s more estrogen(female hormone) in a human, when that boy will be attracted to the same sex. It’s science. Thats the reason why so many walk like girls and the girls act like men, cause they weren’t born with the right amount of hormones. If one is born with the right amount they will act straight humans, attracted to the opposite sex. I wish we could go inside our mothers wombs and put the right amount of hormones, just cause you’re born with the right amount, not everyone is born with the right amount. Google it, you’ll know about Androgen and estrogen. Some are born disabled, same thing some problems at birth, you’re not a doctor, ora. Scientist, but at least let’s know the basic facts, we learn some science in school, and I knew about male and female hormones at 13, in school. Probably you didn’t learn in your school. Let’s all get educated. Everyday we learn something new, so today before questioning someone do some study on internet about male and female hormones at birth.

    • @VansSpartacus
      @VansSpartacus ปีที่แล้ว

      Be grateful that you’re born with the right amount, not everyone is born healthy, some are born with disabilities. So I think this is a disability too, probably it can be fixed but would cost a lot to inject Androgen in a boy, which not everyone could afford, unless one is born to super rich parents..

    • @VansSpartacus
      @VansSpartacus ปีที่แล้ว

      If you don’t know, than don’t talk. We understand it more better when it happens to our own Families or someone close in our families is LGBTQ+, or else it’s easier to judge others, to treat people differently and showing hate, discrimination and disrespect. We’re living in a 🌍, when we point fingers at others when we’ve got our own mess to be cleaned. No one is perfect, probably the straight people do much worse things.

    • @VansSpartacus
      @VansSpartacus ปีที่แล้ว

      I meant to say, that I didn’t know why I was attracted to guys, when I had to be attracted to girls. It should come naturally, but it didn’t. We can’t like something artificially, it should come naturally , that attraction to sex is natural, it’s not made up, it’s the hormones, which play a major role.
