    So many people say weight loss is 80% diet and 20% working out. I’ve noticed working out makes me hungriee

      High intensity exercise will cause hunger and stress. Go to lower intensity and do 30 minutes max 3 times per week for strength training, add stretching and walk. Our bodies need exercise for strength, balances, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Examples are Pilates, stretching (some do Christian yoga or see Bob Anderson’s classic book “Stretching” ), dumbbell / body weight exercises, walking, hills. This is life movement that our bodies need. God bless.

      Please don't do yoga!
      There is no such thing as Christian yoga..
      You can't fool the spiritual world. Al yoga poses are worship postures to hindu 'gods' which the Bible clearly tells us are demons.. yoga means yoke, you come under a yoke with the enemie!
      I was in yoga for years before being a Christian and when God gave me a revalation about Him not being in there i quit emidiatly.. i have gone through a horrible year after that looking for help, i found out the Devil is real and so are demons!! It was abosuletely horrifing!
      Thank God for Jesus and the people who helped me find Him, and prayer for me to be delivered from many demons!
      Please Please don't do it!

    I was trying to figure out how to explain MY biggest excuse for not exercising, and while I was thinking about it, I realized.... there's IS NO excuse! So yeah, I'm overweight and it hurts, I live in Phoenix and its a million degrees out right now... but its NOT a million degrees IN the workout room of my apt complex!!! I've been LAZY and FULL of excuses for SO SO many years! Enough so that I watch these videos trying to find the PERFECT video to get me going! There IS no perfect video! Just get off of my butt and MOVE and start the diet... and perhaps even look into doing your 21 day transformation!!! Thanks you guys, BOTH of you!!! ☺

    1st week 21day jump start inspired 13 lb loss! 20 minutes is a start and it makes you alert to ways to add a little more in the regular things we do already.. cooking.. counter pushups, lunges, squats. Watching TV, lay on floor and do pelvic tilts, hip lifts, planks, leg lifts sit ups...it will blow your mind how much you can do while you incorporate them! It is MINDSET! 😁Thank you Joe and son for ignoring my fire!!

    Been working out for a year and a half regularly. Weights, cardio, bands. Jump rope on off days when I can. Made a huge difference in my stamina and strength as a 56 year old grandma. Took me a year to lose 11 pounds, though. Trying to figure out the nutrition part. No sugar and carnivore helped short-term all summer. Now, I suddenly feel lost after not being able to stick with that. Working on my mindset. But still wondering if I’m fighting my hormones (?)

    We don't exercise because we're lazy that's why!! lol And 30 is like still a kid!! Trainer Joe you're hilarious!! You motivate me more when you tell it like it is, we need truth and your truth is funny!! Please don't start getting all nicey nice on us!! People who get offended by anything you say, will probably always stay fat!😂🎉

    I love you guys so much! You crack me up every week, and this week, for sure! My favorite quote: "the greatest defense against aging is MUSCLE." I also liked "the hardest lift will be you getting up off the couch!" Preach, people! 🙂

    I have been struggling for years with exercise. I ended up hurting my knee about a year ago and it was awful but i did PT and got it back to functioning properly. I was then so afraid of lunges and squats!!! But it is worse if you do not exercise it. On my journey now!!
    Also- every add on every video is weight loss drugs. Just insanely ironic.

    I keep thinking there has to be an emotional eating component. people will want to eat their comfort foods until they die. diabetes? donuts? take more insulin

    Diet for weight loss. Exercise for health and fitness if fitness is a goal. Of course exercise will help the calories in / calories out equation but you would have to walk forever to burn the calories in two donuts. Also, overall movement in a day is better than a gym session once a day for an hour or so and then being a couch potato for the next 23 hours. The hour of scheduled , intentional exercise coupled with a general active lifestyle is best. Just mho.

    You used the example of a car... Like a car, we need fuel we utilize nutrition for this. Cars also need oil to run the inner mechanics of the car, we need exercise to do the same thing! Exercise also provides strength to our "chassis" 😁
