Well done! You had a job there but shows perseverance pays off in the end. Also. a ton of patience! Love your videos. I know this is an old video so you probably won’t see this. Hugs from England 💕🥰🐶🐶🇬🇧
Another teacher suggested putting her over soft clay in the fridge for a while before she cut it. Can't remember who it was. Actually it was two different people. Enjoyed your tutorial. Thanks. Sharon Hille
Yes - that is always an option and I usually do that if I need to. I have suggested that in several of my tutorials but when filming a video there isn't always time to do that.
Love your polymer clay cane's. If you added another color, it would have made alot more. Anyway, my question is where did you get your motor for your pasta machine? Thank you for all your great show's, and for your help.
Thanks for sharing! I LOVE the darker one because it looks almost like a dahlia cane. The lighter one seems more geometric but looks great too! Thanks!!
Hello Gayle Love the canes in your tutorials. I'm new to polymer clay but have watched all your videos and it all looks so easy. Hopefully my clay work turns out just as beautiful as yours did. Have a wonderful day. 😀
Sometimes it takes a little practice to get a cane the way you want it. I tend to not pay too much attention to detail so sometimes mine don't turn out too well. If they don't turn out the way you want, just try again! Don't throw away your failures! They can make new canes!
Yes you could. My original work surface (under the white tile) is glass and has a great grid on it that is marked. But I can't use it to make videos because the grid give a really busy background so I put a tile on top.
Those are neat looking. Love the color choice. Monochrome is actually black and white. According to Google Monochrome is a photo or picture in black and white or varying shades of only one color. - Heidi
, good morning GayIe l know you did this video in 2016 but I've been following you now for the last 3 months or so I'm still a newbie I love it the question that I have is how much polymer clay did you use to start off to start your Skinner blend thank you and have a blessed day

You always produce beautiful pieces of work ❤️ have you been out in the sun you have a lovely suntan 👍🏻I love soufflé clay it always leaves a faux suede finish but does go very soft to work with
Thanks for another great tutorial! I've never seen one done quite like this and it really looks fun. Also the hint for the Armor All on the blade is so helpful! Just what I needed. God bless and keep up the fun :-)
I love the video and your style but yeah, monochrome wasn't the right word to use. Monochrome means black & white.. the absence of primary color. But I do love what you did here. Gorgeous.
los efectos son sutiles y hechizantes, pero la selección de colores no es muy afortunada, pues da la sensación de estar viendo un tejido celular, como un tumor o un órgano extraño. Sería mejor usar unos tonos más alegres.

Rubber stampers have acrylic blocks for stamps. You can buy them at rubber stamp stores.
Since I am a stamper also, I have lots of acrylic blocks for stamping. You can usually find them in the dollar section of some craft stores.
I think you are absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed listening to you as much as watching. I smiled the whole video through.
Thanks!

You can use the plastic squares and triangles with the measurements on them from the quilt sqaures they are clear.

Another awesome cane!
Gorgeous, Gayle!! I hope you will do a tutorial using these canes. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for another great tutorial. These are my colors too.
Beautiful! Thanks so much, Gayle! God bless you!
So beautiful, Gayle! Love all your tutorials! tfs
Thanks!
beautiful
Can you show what you'll use these for? I'd love to see what you create with these beautiful canes.
Those are neat looking. Love the color choice. Monochrome is actually black and white. According to Google Monochrome is a photo or picture in black and white or varying shades of only one color. - Heidi
And since this is a light and dark of the same color, I guess this qualifies.
I love it
Fantastico, muchas gracias por sus tutoriales.

Sorry. I don't remember. I would start off with at least 1/2 to a whole 2 oz pkg of each color because you have to start with a double thickness.
Gayle Thompson thank you, l have learned so much from you, you make it so much fun, love everyone of your videos, and l look everyday for your videos, l am just making a lot of your canes, and now starting to skinner bends, thanks again this was only supposed to be for me and my granddaughter when she's here every other weekend but I find myself in the afternoon why I've closed down my daycare business who doing it just to relax and I also crochet and sell I have so many projects I need to get done with my crochet that I find myself just playing with my polymer clay all day thanks again Gayle you're great

Thanks! I don't know when this video was done without going into the video. I imagine it was summertime. Otherwise I avoid the sun.
Great tutorial Gayle. Thankyou :)
Oh you can also go to home Depot for plexiglass cheap
Love that
Very pretty
Thanks for another great tutorial! I've never seen one done quite like this and it really looks fun. Also the hint for the Armor All on the blade is so helpful! Just what I needed. God bless and keep up the fun :-)
There are so many ways to do this type of cane. I like this way. One of my canes looks like a beautiful flower!
very cute TFS😃
wow!!!
That is so fun
I thought that this color combination was meh, but ended up really liking it. Go figure.
It’s called a duo tone.
I love the video and your style but yeah, monochrome wasn't the right word to use. Monochrome means black & white.. the absence of primary color. But I do love what you did here. Gorgeous.
Maybe it is monotone? I know I've heard some term like this that meant different tones and tints of the same color. Sorry if I got it wrong.
those were not right angles, a right angle is 90 degrees like a corner of a square or rectangle
I try to make my angles as close to 90 degrees as possible. The sides are not equal in length but my corner should be close.
los efectos son sutiles y hechizantes, pero la selección de colores no es muy afortunada, pues da la sensación de estar viendo un tejido celular, como un tumor o un órgano extraño. Sería mejor usar unos tonos más alegres.
Video was off to one side..couldn't see alot
Sorry! This was one of my first videos. I hope I'm better now.
very cute TFS😃
