    I did this about 2 months ago. It was originally a mistake on my part. It was more angled at first, then I off set it to try and correct. Here in Arizona the heat had my clay really sticking. Its now just wrapped-didnt know I was doing something good until just now watching this video. Its obivious Im a novice working with clay. Tfs.

    Thanks Samantha, a great tutorial. Using blue and green would make a cool background for scenery. Blessings

    Thank you for the new ideas. Although "original" methods are terrific, I much prefer to see the 'off-shoots' because it expands the ideas. Yes, we could just start from scratch and develop our own, but you have given us two ideas (and even expanded on those!) to play with instead of just one. This is equivalent to being given a box of crayons instead of just one. Any time the idea box is expanded, the door to creativity is opened even wider. Thanks!

    I absolutely LOVE your tutorials and your work is beautiful! You make it look so easy and you always explain everything so well that people who are learning (like me 😁) can pick it up. However, I have one small request for your videos: I know tile works really well as a work surface for clay, but is there any way you could use another base material for cutting in your tutorials? Or maybe just mute that part of the video? I usually have to either turn the sound off or fast forward through the clay cutting/slicing scenes because of the "nails on a chalkboard" screeching sound that happens. Haha! Since you're soft-spoken, I usually have the volume turned up so I can hear you, but then, all-of-a-sudden the blade scrapes the tile and I die a little inside. 😂 Obviously, it's not your fault, but my ears cannot handle it. Idk, maybe I'm the only one who notices it? (In which case, I'm sorry for being a turd. Lol.) Otherwise, I find your tutorials very relaxing and informative! Thank you for sharing everything you've learned and inspiring people to create! You're very talented and you seem really nice, too! 😊

    • @JessamaTutorials
      @JessamaTutorials  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't even notice that. Maybe I'll start cutting an grease proof paper. That should stop the screeching. 😁

      @moogarland 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jessama Tutorials - I could possibly be the only one who noticed it, since I'm the only one who mentioned it. So....there's that. Haha. I have really sensitive ears, though, so maybe it's like a dog whistle for me. 😂
