Tulip Cane Tutorial in Polymer Clay

The supplies you will need for this tutorial are:
a fanfold skinner blend of your choice of color for the tulip petals
a fanfold skinner blend of your choice of color for the leaves
A darker blend of each skinner blend for the outline wrap
A background color for the cane (I used Cernit Translucent)
Your background color extruded with a triangle-shaped disc, or you and make your own triangle-shaped log
Your background color extruded in a hexagon or make your own logs into a square shape will work, also
Your background color rolled out to a #3 setting on your pasta machine
a tissue blade
an awl or toothpick
