She's just as integral to their sound as Carrie and Corin are. Maybe even more so. I like a lot of the music the latter two have made as of late, but man, Janet's absence is profoundly noticeable.
Nice thing about records my dude. They last forever. However....seeing them live at the height of their power....OK you missed out on that. Sorry man. They were GREAT!
@@paulmackay7265 they're still good, and funny enough this isnt even their prime. Watch anything from The Woods era, that imo is their height of their power
@@johndotcue the was the specific era I was speaking of actually. It makes me feel old to think about how long ago that tour was! I think their Vancouver show was one of their last on that tour. They played for close to three hours! I guess they wanted each night tolast. Perhaps they knew they were going on an extended hiatus.
Fan since Dig Me Out. Saw them 6 times in Seattle. The last few records haven't really grown on me. Everything even up to No Cities to Love is my SK. This song has a classic sorta rock ballad touch that's kinda cool though.
I love the band with Janet. She rocks the house!

@@cftvdatathey didn’t want Janet’s opinions or creative input anymore
Im mad at myself for learning about them late. This band rocks.

Perfection
Janet is Sleater-Kinney 💯🥁
hell of a good performance
God I miss Janet in S/K. She is rock solid on timing and so propulsive.
Saw open for GBV in ‘97 in Central Park. And every tour after till they went on hiatus
Absolutely excellent. I love them!
AWESOME!!!!!
Awesome, I notice
Brilliance.
I like how Carrie finally figured out one of her guitar strings was out of tune and adjusted by bending the sting more. Great vocal performance.
Freaking rules.
They rock
Sounds like Ramones meet the Beatles in 1.25 speed
Can't believe they'd sack Janet.
They should have have hired a person to dress as Tina Belcher and dance.
Nah, I loved Louise's dance the best.
@@georgestaunton6994 uh Gene's dance was brilliant
they should have gotten 3 people to dance as all the belcher children

Janet is always so solid and rocking. I lost interest in the band when she left.
Nobody rocks a Pant suit like Carrie.
