QUALITY OF EDUCATION: 7 MODELS | Concept, definitions, indicators, assurance of education quality

- Watch: Quality of education explained based on academic research. In this video, the seven models of quality are explored in academic literature in order to provide a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance approaches. The concept, definition, quality models and indicators of quality ultimately help to assure quality in different educational contexts.
If you ever wondered how to provide quality education in your institution, you need to explore the complex nature of this concept first. Acknowledging the concept of quality in education helps when developing quality improvement programs for education. The models of quality provided in this video help to identify the appropriate approach to improving quality in a particular situation and help to build a systemic view on an educational organization (nursery, school, college, university). Providing quality education satisfies students, teachers, parents and management boards.

Excellent explanation of the content of the article in particular the 7 models of quality education. This is very helpful to me as my research for my Ph.D. is on the perception of Tuvaluans based on their indigenous knowledge of what quality education is supposed for Tuvaluans. Thanks a lot again.

Yes, that sounds very familiar to me. I like the way this concept of education quality enables you to consider some other scenarios of dealing with it. Otherwise we sometimes can't even imagine approaches alternative to ours. IMHO, this is real eye-opening.

What are the Quality Assurance in Higher Education nodes or codes/themes or approaches to be used for literature qualitative analysis in Nvivo?
That's a big question with diverse possible answers. Literature review in a thesis is always structured based on the research question, and this forms your very approach and sense of analysing the available information about the higher ed.
