- How to get paid courses on Coursera for free with certificate in 2021? You can apply for a financial aid, and in this video I give you a detailed step by step explanation about the financial aid application process. If you follow this guide and tips, you can study on Coursera for free and receive a free certificate for your CV. I myself have six certificates on Coursera so I know what I am talking about.

Pls when you were applying, there’s a part that asks ‘how much can you pay for your selected course?’ Did you choose a particular amount or you just put 0 Usd. I’m not sure what to do here. Really can’t afford it but scared to put $0. Thanks

hi Hani, I have a question do you apply for course two or three while you are on course 1 and you are about to finish it or do I have to really finish course 1 and wait for another 15 days for course 2 to be approved?

Thanks a lot for your tips. Coursera is really doing a great job, that's why (imho) it doesn't look fair paying 0/nothing for their job. At least it should be 1$))
I believe we only should apply for the financial aid ONLY in situations when we genuinely cannot afford it. Say, now I would rather pay for it. Plus they are working on some later payment options - this would also be a good choice. And there are also people from very low-income countries - I think it is fair enough to give provide them with free (or almost free) educational opportunities.
ppl like u made the world ugly as it is now ... u find smthn for free ..it hurts u tht its free "we should pay 1$" ..if them ppl are losing smthn would they put it for free ?

Wow crazy! Thanks, Miftakhov, now at least I don't have to worry about the 59-dollar budget which at the moment with a bad economy & ever rising dollar trend is extremely hard to find. I just can't afford that, especially since am a student.🤦♂

Thank you for watching! Yes, to receive a certificate you usually need to watch all the lectures of the course. Additionally, courses usually have some kind of tests or assignments that you also must finish in order to get the certificate.
Thank you for your tipps, very helpful. I am just wondering, as everything is in english, should I write the text for the financial aid in English? The headlines are in german though ( I am from germany) so I am a bit confused. Also it sais USD and not Euro so I just change my income to USD?
Oh, that's an unusual question. I think it would be safe to write the text in English and change the income to USD. Just in case it matters

Q don't have passport so i started the process right now so if i didn't get it during the course hours did they terminate my chance b/c the process takes atleast 1 month to get the passport but the course last for one month

In February I started the path for the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate but I had to stop due to the intensity of the Master that I just finished. What should I do in order not to lose the certificates obtained and resume the courses from where I left them?
Hi Riccardo! As far as I know, there is no such thing as closing down a course for someone who is not attending in time - you just continue your course whenever you are ready for it again. But I might be wrong about this, this is just the knowledge that I have on that matter

what if I do all the courses in a specialization by applying for financial aid for all of them one after the other? do i get the specialization certificate for free as well? please clarify
Hello! That's a very very reasonable question but I don't know the answer to it as I haven't trying getting a specialization certificate myself. Hopefully some other users might comment on that.
Wrong information at the end before submitting the graded quiz asking for an upgrade to submit. The summary is that you won't be able to submit your answers without subscribing to the course. So don't waste your time like I did.

Sorry I didn't understand the guestion. It is pretty much right forward there once you are approved - they just open the course for you and you start learning
I have submitted my assignment of week 3, completed all the course, but that week 3 assignment has still not been graded. I have been waiting a long for it. It is showing as "Overdue Jan 01" & is a Peer graded assignment.
Should I wait more or do something.
Basically, you don't have any options other than wait. It happens sometimes with peer review assessments

I recieved the financisl approve and completed the course with 94 %
But i still no recieve the certificate
Go to your account settings, there has to be something like 'my accomplishments' section. If you completed the course indeed, the certificate must be there
